Month of Cheshvan

The words Rosh Chodesh mean head (beginning) of the month.  It's a celebration cycle that God initiated.  He gives us a new month; we celebrate his goodness in advance, at the beginning of it. When we give him our first pinch, he blesses the whole lump!
2 Chronicles 8:12–13 NKJV
12 Then Solomon offered burnt offerings to the Lord on the altar of the Lord which he had built before the vestibule, 13 according to the daily rate, offering according to the commandment of Moses, for the Sabbaths, the New Moons, and the three appointed yearly feasts—the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the Feast of Weeks, and the Feast of Tabernacles.
Isaiah 66:23 NKJV
23 And it shall come to pass That from one New Moon to another, And from one Sabbath to another, All flesh shall come to worship before Me,” says the Lord.
Revelation 22:1–2 NKJV
1 And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb. 2 In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
We are free in Christ Jesus
"GOD, YOU ARE GREAT!  You are OUR GOD, and we are YOUR PEOPLE!  You have blessed us in this past month!
And we know you will be faithful again in this new month!  So we celebrate YOU, Lord!  We dance in advance!  And we thank you that you gave us Your Son Jesus!"
Nehemiah 12:44 NKJV
44 And at the same time some were appointed over the rooms of the storehouse for the offerings, the firstfruits, and the tithes, to gather into them from the fields of the cities the portions specified by the Law for the priests and Levites; for Judah rejoiced over the priests and Levites who ministered.
Genesis 7:11–13 NKJV
11 In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, on that day all the fountains of the great deep were broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened. 12 And the rain was on the earth forty days and forty nights. 13 On the very same day Noah and Noah’s sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth, and Noah’s wife and the three wives of his sons with them, entered the ark—
Genesis 8:14 NKJV
14 And in the second month, on the twenty-seventh day of the month, the earth was dried.
Chesvan 17-27 - October 23 to November 2 ( 10 days of thanksgiving, praise and worship)
Genesis 8:20–22 NKJV
20 Then Noah built an altar to the Lord, and took of every clean animal and of every clean bird, and offered burnt offerings on the altar. 21 And the Lord smelled a soothing aroma. Then the Lord said in His heart, “I will never again curse the ground for man’s sake, although the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth; nor will I again destroy every living thing as I have done. 22 “While the earth remains, Seedtime and harvest, Cold and heat, Winter and summer, And day and night Shall not cease.”
Month of Covenant
This is a month of connecting your roots. The Jews believe the soul responds in this month in unusual ways.
You have to deal with your root issues. We should look for a time of deliverence to deal with root issues during this time
Jesus said Noah and Lot
Get into the Ark
Teach from Bible GEnesis 6 & 7
•Supernatural provision and protection
8th month:
8 – New beginnings & eternal revelation
watch for new beginnings this month, protect it and honor it
alphabet Nun - Cheshvan is called the Month of Messiah
•No feasts ( very ironic) - the Jews believe that this month is reserved fo the Messiah and He will come and inaugurate the 3rd temple
House of the Lord was dedicated
1 Kings 6:1 NKJV
1 And it came to pass in the four hundred and eightieth year after the children of Israel had come out of the land of Egypt, in the fourth year of Solomon’s reign over Israel, in the month of Ziv, which is the second month, that he began to build the house of the Lord.
1 Kings 6:37–38 NKJV
37 In the fourth year the foundation of the house of the Lord was laid, in the month of Ziv. 38 And in the eleventh year, in the month of Bul, which is the eighth month, the house was finished in all its details and according to all its plans. So he was seven years in building it.
1 Kings 12:32 NKJV
32 Jeroboam ordained a feast on the fifteenth day of the eighth month, like the feast that was in Judah, and offered sacrifices on the altar. So he did at Bethel, sacrificing to the calves that he had made. And at Bethel he installed the priests of the high places which he had made.
Scorpion & Snakes – Luke 10:19
The constellation associated with Cheshvan is Scorpio (the scorpion). The scorpion and snake are symbols of this month. God has given us authority and this is key for this month.
Halloween (hight demonic activity)
Luke 10:19 NKJV
19 Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
Satan wants to get the upper hand, but this is the time to plant your heel on the enemy’s neck.
Let Lord press the anointing out of you
If you are moving in revelation and anointing you will gain upper hand on Satan
Manasseh:
The tribes of Manasseh and Ephraim often are identified jointly as the tribe of Joseph and then the lines of who is what gets a little confused
Exercising free will can lead to undesirable or even disastrous results, Especially if we disobey God or make selfish choices. Manasseh learned this lesson painfully when they failed to obey God’s command to destroy the Canaanites.
Part of this failure was due to a lack of faith that God would give them strength to overcome a seemingly unconquerable for it also shows us things such as greed and covetousness. The half tribe of Manasseh desired more land because they were “a numerous people” They may have had teh numbers, but they were unwilling to follow Joshua’s exhortation to clear “the land of the Perizzites and the Rephaites”
