Our deepest longing is to be loved. We want a love that accepts us as we are and sees us better than we are. We want a rock solid love that anchors when life crashes and a storybook love that lasts long after the credits roll.

Only in deep loss have I found how much deeper God’s love is.

No other person can satisfy what our soul crave and our heart needs. God’s love is our home. God’s love is the pillow that provides real rest, the salve that soothes the tenderest places and the covering that wraps us in secure hope.

From one end to the other scripture declares God’s extravagant love for You. Take a look at God’s love notes in the following Bible verses:

1. You are the apple of God’s eye.

Zechariah 2:8 (NKJV): 8 For thus says the Lord of hosts: “He sent Me after glory, to the nations which plunder you; for he who touches you touches the apple of His eye.

2. God delights over You!

Zephaniah 3:17 The Lord your God in your midst,
The Mighty One, will save;
He will rejoice over you with gladness,
He will quiet you with His love,
He will rejoice over you with singing.

3. God knows you fully and loves all of YOU.

Psalms 139:1-4 You have searched me Lord, and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways. Before a word is on my tongue, You, Lord know it completely.

4. You are God’s masterpiece!

Ephesians 2:10 For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.

5. God’s love for you is lavish!

1 John 3:1 (NIV):See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God.

6. God’s love for you is compassionate!

Psalms 103:13 (NIV):  As a father has compassion on his children,
so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him.

7. God’s love for you is steadfast, faithful and loyal.

Psalms 86:15 But you, O Lord, are a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness.

8. God’s love for you is vast in immeasurable surpassing anything we could ever imagine.

Ephesians 3:17-19 And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people. To grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge-that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.

9. We learned love from God and it teaches us how to love! He loved us first, then we love him. It’s like that with us and our kids. They weren’t born loving us. We first loved them and they learned love. Why do our children obey us? Is it from fear of spanking?

Why do they believe us when they ask us anything? Our children listen, obey and have faith in what we tell them because they know how much we love them. This type of relationship is learned thru raising them and loving them! When we draw close to God by praying, reading the Bible and spending time with God we develop a relationship and know we can ask him anything. We know we have what we ask for because we know His love, we know he hears us. You see, Faith works by Love…and we abide in the Father and are one with Him, Jesus says His Father will love Us.

John 15:7 KJV 1900
If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
Galatians 5:6 KJV 1900
For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.
John 14:21 describes the nature of a successful relationship with God.
John 14:21 KJV 1900
He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

10. God’s love for you was expressed by giving you His greatest gift. His only begotten Son!

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son; that whosever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

11. The Proof of His Love

Romans 5:8 Yet the proof of God’s amazing love is this: that it was while were sinners that Christ died for us.

12. God‘s love could never be earned, its His gift to You!

1 John 4:10 (NIV): This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.

13. Perfect (Mature) love casts out all fear. This is how faith is lubricated and grows, and works!

1 John 4:18 (NIV):  There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.

14. God’s love fills us with hope that will not disappoint. His Spirit literally fills us with His love!

Romans 5:5 And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know dearly God loves us, because He gives us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with His love.

15. His love is shield around you life.

Psalms 5:12 For you bless the godly O Lord, You surround then with Your shield of Love.

16. God’s love is Always with you!

Romans 8:38-39 (NIV): For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
