25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:
26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?
Today we are here to celebrate the life of Dalashawn Hart Perry. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was very creative and made many accomplishment in her life. She will be missed by many who knew her or were related to her in the physically but her spiritual shall life for every.
Each of us are all special in the sight of the Lord and do make an impact in the life of those we are in contact with whether we realize it or not. The most important aspect of life is that you live each day to the fullest and enjoy family which is important to God.
The reason each of you are here today is because of the love you expressed to Dalashawn and to encourage those who are part of this family. There are many ways or things that could be said regarding this but the most important point to understand is that family is important and your Life Matters.
Each of us are able to see and know all the things that are happening around us each and everyday but the blessings is to know that Jesus Christ also know these things and said that I will always be with you to the end and you are not alone unless you decide to walk alone by yourself.
I want to encourage each of us that this life is short but we should enjoy each day we have with each other and always look for the opportunity to help someone and show love to them whether we know them or not. I realize that this may be difficult for some today because of this occasion but remember those conversation you had with Dalashawn was always about living to the best of your ability and that to always support each other no matter what the situation.
I am not going to stand here and say I know what each of you are feeling or how you should feel because that would not further than the truth. The truth is that I do know someone who does know what you are feeling and does have the ability of comforting you must better than I and His name is Jesus Christ.
In Psalms 27:4-5
4 One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; That I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the Lord, and to inquire in his temple.
5 For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: In the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; He shall set me up upon a rock.
39 But the salvation of the righteous is of the Lord: He is their strength in the time of trouble.
Final to the Family
May you always know that true-fully family is all you have no matter what’s going on good or bad. This is the time to lean on each other not matter what’s happening or and even if you can understand what’s happening. Now is the time to strengthen each other and being there for each other especially in times like this and express the same love that Dalashawn expressed to each of you.
Try to remember those conversation you had with her, the time you shared with her, the special occasions that the family had together and most important remember that Life Matters.
She will be missed but she will never be forgotten.
I leave you with these words from the Lord
A Song of degrees.
1 I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, From whence cometh my help.
2 My help cometh from the Lord, Which made heaven and earth.
3 He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: He that keepeth thee will not slumber.
4 Behold, he that keepeth Israel Shall neither slumber nor sleep.
5 The Lord is thy keeper: The Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand.
6 The sun shall not smite thee by day, Nor the moon by night.
7 The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: He shall preserve thy soul.
8 The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in From this time forth, and even for evermore.
5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; And lean not unto thine own understanding.
6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, And he shall direct thy paths.
