What Will Happen When I Die? What does the future hold?

But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead comes also through a man. For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive. But each in turn: Christ, the firstfruits; then, when he comes, those who belong to him.

Without the knowledge of the resurrection a person cannot live in Hope. Hope is what gives us confidence.

FEAR OF DEATH. Death is something that can’t be avoided. Everyone dies.

Time is a gift that we abuse.

Scientist haven’t figured out how to buy more time. You either redeem the Time you have in Life, you the time will redeem you.

People become obsessed with what the future holds - this is called futurism.

People begin to seek fortunetellers or even demonic wedge boards to find their future.

The Hope That We Will Live After Death

John 14:19 NIV

Before long, the world will not see me anymore, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live.

But there is another Hope We At Family Life Live By.

THE BLESSED HOPE OF HIS COMING

The Blessed Hope Of His Coming is called the Second Coming of Christ.

Jesus is coming back to the earth he created to judge the world of sin. Book of Revelation.

Know one knows the time or the hour when he will return.

Jesus said I don’t even know the time or the hour, only the Father Knows.

But JESUS does tell us the signs that will happen before.

GOD IS PREPARING A PLACE FOR YOU IN HEAVEN

John 14:3 NIV

And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.

Jesus says I will snatch you away. - Taken by force.

BUT There is a Divine Intervention before Jesus Comes back to the earth.

Before His Second Coming The Rapture Will Happen!

The Rapture Of The Saints

1 Thessalonians 4:16–17 NIV

For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.

The Lord Will Not Step Foot On The Earth At This Time. But Will Summons Us To Be With Him.

Wrath is coming on earth because of Sin.

God will PULL THOSE people out who have faith and trust in Him. Who Love Him and have repented from their sin.

Sin was punished by God already.

This is where our bodies will be transformed in a moment. - More to come on that.

JESUS WILL COME GET HIS CURCH WHEN YOUR NOT EXPECTING IT

Matthew 24:40–44 NIV

Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left. “Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come. But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into. So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.

THIS IS WHAT IS CALLED THE RAPTURE IN THE BIBLE

We could be here for the Rapture or we might die before the Rapture happens.

JUDGEMENT SEAT OF CHRIST.

This is where everything will be judged.

NOT SIN BUT OUR — Actions — Attitudes — Motives — Stewardship — Words

WHAT DID YOU DO WITH THE RELATIONSHIP YOU HAD WITH JESUS CHRIST?

Did you serve Him? Did you tell people about Him?

Did you have a relationship with him? Did you glorify him with your life?

Did you Dedicate your Life to Jesus Christ?

Good works For His Name Sake - will be Worthy of the Reward.

Christ Jesus Will Begin to Separate the people one from another.

Just like a Shepherd separates the Sheep from the Goats.

Matthew 25:34 NIV

“Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world.

One group - Sheep - on His Right will be blessed by God. Inheritance will be given, the Kingdom that was prepared for you.

People Who Serve Christ with their life will be rewarded

- Serving from our faith and love.

Rewards will vary.

What Will The Kingdom of God Be Like?

The streets are made of Gold.

Colorful - Perish diamonds and colors will be the setting.

Face to Face with God.

Evil will not be present.

A young girl was worried that Jesus was coming soon.

She Told Her Grandma that she didn’t want Jesus to come back until she was married and had children.

The Grandma responded to her in a powerful way. Jesus will never take away anything good from you and he will fill every desire you have 10 times more than you were hoping for.

Youth believe this : I want to enjoy all the pleasures of the world before settling down to be with Jesus. I Have Time

This brings tremendous damage; creates obstacles in the heart and mind whenever they decide to live for Jesus Christ.

GOD IS STILL GOING TO ALLOW YOU TO EXPERIENCE ALL THE PLEASURE, JOY, AND HAPPINESS THAT YOU DESIRE IN CHRST JESUS

- A HEALTHY WAY, A HEAVENLY WAY.

PEOPLE THAT SUFFER IN THIS LIFE WILL HAVE AN UNEXPRESSABLE JOY IN HEAVEN.

Something they have never experienced before.

My Cousin Julie:

My Cousin Julie had Scoliosis her whole life. She couldn’t walk or run. She needed a feed tube to just eat food must of her life. She was the sweetest young girl you would have ever met.

I never saw Julie get angry or complain about anything. But my Cousin Julie was suffering. When she was 16 years old we almost lost her. In and out of the hospital. Her heart stopped, she was dead for almost 5 minutes and doctors did everything they could to bring her back.

She woke up and told my aunt she was walking. She saw Jesus and Dad (My Uncle Chuck) and my Grandma. She didn’t want to come back. A few years later my cousin Julie passed away peacefully.

Heaven is greater than we think it is. God is not going to hold back any good thing from you.

“Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.

Another Group - Goats- On His Left will be cursed by God. Into the Eternal Fire. Goats ruined the pastures of the sheep. They went on mountains

People Who Didn’t Receive or Follow Christ will be Cursed.

Hell is a place that is separated from God. - Evil

Flesh burning and melting off you.

Chambers of prisons.

Breathing is gone, light is gone, seeing is gone. Talking is gone - only pain. No pleasure. God is the one who always us to have pleasure.

What Will Our Bodies Look Like In Heaven?

The Bible doesn’t give much detail on this subject:

The bodies will be heavenly.

The heavenly bodies will not be physical bodies (flesh & blood) but spiritual bodies.

Our new heavenly bodies will be perfect

We will have an identification with our old body - but we won’t have flesh to identify.

When we see Apple Tree we know that the Apple Tree was planted from Apple Seed. Because it is an Apple Tree.

1 Cor. 15:35-52 The Message:

35-39 Some skeptic is sure to ask, “Show me how resurrection works. Give me a diagram; draw me a picture. What does this ‘resurrection body’ look like?” If you look at this question closely, you realize how absurd it is. There are no diagrams for this kind of thing. We do have a parallel experience in gardening. You plant a “dead” seed; soon there is a flourishing plant. There is no visual likeness between seed and plant. You could never guess what a tomato would look like by looking at a tomato seed. What we plant in the soil and what grows out of it don’t look anything alike. The dead body that we bury in the ground and the resurrection body that comes from it will be dramatically different.

39–41 You will notice that the variety of bodies is stunning. Just as there are different kinds of seeds, there are different kinds of bodies—humans, animals, birds, fish—each unprecedented in its form. You get a hint at the diversity of resurrection glory by looking at the diversity of bodies not only on earth but in the skies—sun, moon, stars—all these varieties of beauty and brightness. And we’re only looking at pre-resurrection “seeds”—who can imagine what the resurrection “plants” will be like!

42–44 This image of planting a dead seed and raising a live plant is a mere sketch at best, but perhaps it will help in approaching the mystery of the resurrection body—but only if you keep in mind that when we’re raised, we’re raised for good, alive forever! The corpse that’s planted is no beauty, but when it’s raised, it’s glorious. Put in the ground weak, it comes up powerful. The seed sown is natural; the seed grown is supernatural—same seed, same body, but what a difference from when it goes down in physical mortality to when it is raised up in spiritual immortality!

45–49 We follow this sequence in Scripture: The First Adam received life, the Last Adam is a life-giving Spirit. Physical life comes first, then spiritual—a firm base shaped from the earth, a final completion coming out of heaven. The First Man was made out of earth, and people since then are earthy; the Second Man was made out of heaven, and people now can be heavenly. In the same way that we’ve worked from our earthy origins, let’s embrace our heavenly ends.

51–57 But let me tell you something wonderful, a mystery I’ll probably never fully understand. We’re not all going to die—but we are all going to be changed. You hear a blast to end all blasts from a trumpet, and in the time that you look up and blink your eyes—it’s over. On signal from that trumpet from heaven, the dead will be up and out of their graves, beyond the reach of death, never to die again. At the same moment and in the same way, we’ll all be changed. In the resurrection scheme of things, this has to happen: everything perishable taken off the shelves and replaced by the imperishable, this mortal replaced by the immortal.

A. SEED THAT IS PLANTED - The Bible says my Body is like a Seed.

A seed must die before it comes out of the ground.

But after the seed dies it comes out of the ground and flourishes in nature.

The seed turns into something glorious, perfect, and beautiful.
