Jesus continues to confront the false teachers and the danger of their teaching, while directing his hearers to trust in Him and His death for their salvation. A Good Shepherd warns, protects, and saves His sheep from many enemies. Today, false shepherds are still abandoning the flock for selfish gain and they need to be avoided and Christ is to be listened to and trusted.
