Our Mindset regarding suffering

looks back to the suffering of Christ
your will, not mine
looks forward to our deliverance from the presence of sin
clarity of mind that comes amidst suffering

Call to repentance

What might it cost you?

loss of idols
loss of support network

What might you gain?

eternal life- begins now
forgiveness- past, present, future
clean conscience- tender mercy of God’s healing

Death is no longer a threat

To the believer in Christ (who has conquered death) death is no longer a threat.
