How we view ourselves, in spiritual matters, in righteousness and religion, has a direct impact on the way w e think about and manage our relationships with others. In the way of Jesus' Kingdom, we are taught to view outselves in a true state of humility and thus to esteem others better than ourselves. We are taught in the Way not to pursue things out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. In esteeming others abovee ourselves, we ought not fail to esteem and value infants, chidlren. What a joy to serve them! Jesus reminds us that we are to be a continually praying people as we have a delighted, continual fellowship with the Sovereign God of the Universe. Jesus still has compassion on regular people. In a world that esteem the rich and powerful, let us be those who serve and bless no matter the social standing of the recipient of that service.
