Call to Worship
Exodus 15:1–2 NKJV
1 Then Moses and the children of Israel sang this song to the Lord, and spoke, saying: “I will sing to the Lord, For He has triumphed gloriously! The horse and its rider He has thrown into the sea! 2 The Lord is my strength and song, And He has become my salvation; He is my God, and I will praise Him; My father’s God, and I will exalt Him.
Giving
Mark 12:41–44 NKJV
41 Now Jesus sat opposite the treasury and saw how the people put money into the treasury. And many who were rich put in much. 42 Then one poor widow came and threw in two mites, which make a quadrans. 43 So He called His disciples to Himself and said to them, “Assuredly, I say to you that this poor widow has put in more than all those who have given to the treasury; 44 for they all put in out of their abundance, but she out of her poverty put in all that she had, her whole livelihood.”
Matthew 5:5 NKJV
5 Blessed are the meek, For they shall inherit the earth.

what do we mean by platitude?

Okay, let’s define terms: what is a platitude? What do-you mean by produce?

The platitudes May be true, however it is unproven in the life of the person saying it. because it is not proven in the life.
Usually it comes of as not helpful by being seen as fake, snarky and in general untruthful. (even though it may be faculty true.

What do we mean by produce?

in the grocery store, where do you get fruits and vegetables? in the produce section!
Where did this produce come from? The Farm! how are they produced the farmer grows them. Growth takes time. One can describe what some produce taste like but that is not going to produce that reality in someones life.

How it works

James 1:2–8 NKJV
2 My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, 3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. 4 But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. 5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. 6 But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. 7 For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; 8 he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.

In order to trust our faith, it has to be passed through the fire.
