“12 Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.”

The Book ot Rervelation records the events that discusses the theme of the great controversy between God and Satan specifically centred on worship.
Chapter 13 discusses an antiChrist system (Papal power), whose intent is to create a counterfate worship that will lead people to move away from true worship.
John saw as we near the close of the world history, this battle against the true worship will intesify that the saints of God will have to go through unexplainable torture and persecution.
Not only will the religious liberty of the saints be denied, but also their economic liberties.
Rev 13:15-17 “He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. 16 He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, 17 and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.”
Daniel talking of this reality, notes in 12:1, that “there shall be a time of trouble such as never was since there was a nation.”
All this trouble is to intimidate believers to abandon the true worship. God is only worshiped in spirit and in truth (Jn 4:24). When the doctrine/teachings is wrong, the worship is void of TRUTH hence God is not worshipped.
In other words, the call to remain loyal to the true worship, to not worship the beast, or recieve the mark of the beast, is where the Faith and the Patience of the saints is tested and proven.
Rev 14:12 “Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.”
The phrase, “Here is,” and “here are they,” communicate a specific group of people who are in specific position or location in the great controversy arena.
Note: John does not say, “There is the patience,” or “there are they.” but he says “here.” here where iam is the place for all the saints. But who is John, and where is John?
Revelation 1:9 “I, John, both your brother and companion in the tribulation and kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was on the island that is called Patmos for the word of God and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.”
Your brother and a companion- In the kingdom and tribulation, and in patience. If you believe in the crucified and raisen savior, i am your brother. If you believe he is from the beginning the eternal God; Iam your brother. If you keeep the commandments of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ, iam your brother. If you will face all manner of persecutions and tribulations for the sake of the gospel; I am your companion. I am here in this island for the sake of the gospel.
Patmos- Place of persuction. where iam there is no freedom of worship for there is no worship. am alone, i cant visit my brethren. no fellowship with the saints. my religious liberty has been taken a way.
but also where iam i cant buy or sell. I am to sturve and die. yes, here iam, is where saints belong. this is their place. you choose here when you choose to remain true to God and worship.
Through this all i gave up. i never sold by faith for peace, i choose patience with the Lord. and because of this my patience He finally came to me with this meassage of revelation. As a result of my patience, i have become a reciepient of these great mystries of God.
Yes you shall find yoursel in this similar stuations but be patient. For HERE is the patience of the saints, here is the place for they who keep the comandmends of God and the faith of Jesus. But Are you Here?
Now the Spirit expressly states that in later days, terrible time will come.
2 Timothy 3:1 “1 But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come:” This terribleness of the days is marked by intense desire to break away from the primitive teaching on godliness.
2 Tim 4:3 “...men will not tolerate sound doctrine, but with itching ears they will gather around themselves teachers to suit their own desires.”
The sound doctrine says, Remember the seventhday to keep it Holy. six days you shall labor and do all your work but the seventhday is a holy sabbath to your Lord, The Itching ear want to hear, the day doesn’t matter but your heart. today many adventists in the cities work on Sabbath. They have defiled the sanctity of Sabbath tor the sake of staying in the cities. And most unfortunately taught their children by example not to take God’s word seriousdly.
The sound doctrine says, Marriage is between man a woman, male and female, the itching ear want to hear the justification of homosexuality.
Sound doctrine teaches christian church should dress in modesty and in reverence to God and His house, but the itching ear is after the philosophyof my dress my choice.
no wonder cases of immorality and infidelity is on rise in our church because our sisters and mothers no longer dress like daughers of Zion, but like daughters of Jezebel.
listen to me somebody, we dont come to church to impress but to be pressed by the holiness of God. we dont come to church to be seen and noticed, but to see God!!
To be a brother of John you must be willing to order your life in a manner it will impress only the ugly cross of Jesus. yes to be a companion of John you must be willing to face tribulations and persecutions for the sake of Jesus Christ.
It is here the patience ofthe saints is tested. But are you here?
Oh that you may be here where is the paytience of the saints. Oh that you may be part of them who keeep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.
Faith of Jesus- That He was willing to loose all the glories of heaven that he may become our redemption (Phil. 2:5-7).
For the joy of seeing us in the kingdom of God, he endured the cross and despised the shame. (Hebr 12:2).
oh that you may be in the company of they who keep the commandments of God and the the faith of Jesus christ.
This where Paul is. Romans 1:16 “16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.”
Philippians 3:8-10 “8 Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ, and his righteousness.”
Yes Here is the patience of the saints, to know him crucified, and suffer for his righteousness. but are you here?
Here is Daniel, who could allow the lions or the fire to intimidate his faith, but would look at the king straight on his eyes and say, “I know my God is able to save me oh king from your hand and from this feiry furnace; but even if he doesnt, let it be known to you oh king, that we will not serve your gods.”
Yes here is the patience of th saints, who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus. But are you here?
Joesph is here-Hated, rejected, and sold into slaverly by his own blood brothers, yet he sought not any revenge. Here is Joseph, who though in a foreign and pagan land had every opportunity to embrace the loose uncontrolled lifestyle of the land. but yet even when the most powerful and beautiful woman in the land was lusting for him, he would cry, “how can i do such wickedness and sin against my God.”
too many of us are strong in public but in private even rats can lay us down. come on somebody, woulnt uou not endure for Christ?
yes here is the patience of the saints, but are you here?
“Ye will have to die a greater death to the world than ye have ever yet died.” (ExV 52.1)
“Sacrifice all to God. Lay all upon his altar, self, property and all, a living sacrifice. It will take all to enter glory...Ye must be partakers of Christ's sufferings here, if ye would be partakers with him of his glory hereafter.”(ExV 52.2)
YES! Here is the patience of the saint. Here is are they whokeep the commandment of God and the faith of Jesus.
