New Era Believers

I’m so excited to minister to you today about what a New Era Believer is like.

If you missed last week’s message about the New Era, I want to strongly encourage you to go and watch it on replay because there was a download and upgrade from Heaven in it for you.

Many people came up to me or contacted me this week to specifically to say that God spoke to them so clearly in that message and that it was exactly what they needed from Heaven.

We are about to see a shift in the followers of Jesus as we step into this New Era - Many of you will hear God calling you in this direction because you were born for such a time as this!

Spoiler alert:

Every Era & every revelation is only moving and revealing in 1 direction - Jesus!

New Era Leaders are going to exhibit character &/or actions that are more like Jesus.

1 Corinthians 13:9–10 NKJV

9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part. 10 But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away.

11 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, 12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, 13 till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ;

In the most recent Era of the Church we have seen the thrust of the activities centered around:

Gathering a cool crowd together

Christianity as a tool to lead a happy life - Kind of Christian Self-Help & motivational lifestyle - Kingdom principles without Kingdom living

Humanitarian works (dead works without faith) (Heb 6:1, Heb 9:14) vs. First Works & God works (Rev. 2:5, John 9:4)

Consumer Christianity (branding, etc)

Excellence above Authenticity & Presence

Appearance above Repentance

Minister-Centric & “Rock-Star” Ministers

“Church-Hunters” style of looking for a church (Pet activities & projects)

Not great depth in understanding and knowledge of God’s Word or His Ways

The New Era Believer:

A gathering of the desperate and hungry

The Christian Life as a living sacrifice to God

Works of Faith: Healings, Miracles, Signs, Wonders

Decentralized ministry where Jesus is famous

Planted in the House of God to fit, flow & function

Knowing the Word & the Ways of God

Naturally Supernatural Believers who GO into the world

Colossians 2:9–10 NKJV
