If you have the Spirit, you have a gift.
- 1 Corinthians 12:7-11
- 1 Corinthians 14:1-12
Example of gifts:
- prophecy
Tests of a genuine prophet:
1. Look at substance, not just the surface. (Mt. 7:15-20)
2. Are their predictions accurate? (Dt. 18:21-22)
3. What do they advocate? (Dt. 13:1-3)
Examples of gifts:
- distinguishing spirits
- tongues (human languages, heavenly language, interpreting)
