13 He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His NAME IS CALLED THE WORD OF GOD.

 Psalm 119:4 (NKJV)
4 YOU HAVE COMMANDED US TO KEEP YOUR PRECEPTS DILIGENTLY.

(1)God has given YOU an assignment

THOU IS GOD THE AUTHORITY

Command: lit means put your house in order

: To prosper and possess
Deuteronomy 6:17-18 (NKJV)

17 you shall diligently keep the commandments of the Lord your God, His testimonies, and His statutes which He has commanded you.
18 And you shall do what is right and good in the sight of the Lord, THAT IT MAY BE WELL WITH YOU, and that you may go in and possess the good land of which the Lord swore to your fathers,

Joshua 1:7 (NKJV)
7 Only be strong and very courageous, that you may observe to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you MAY PROSPER WHEREVER YOU GO.

Jeremiah 7:23 (NKJV)

23 But this is what I commanded them, saying, 'Obey My voice, and I will be your God, and you shall be My people. And walk in all the ways that I have commanded YOU, THAT IT MAY BE WELL WITH YOU.'

PSALM 119:5 (NKJV)
5 OH, THAT MY WAYS WERE DIRECTED TO KEEP YOUR STATUTES!
literal (establish, fix, prepare, apply),

 (2) Gods assignment should be YOUR aspiration

: To follow his love for you through His Word
Luke 6:46-47 (NKJV)
46 "But why do you call ME 'LORD, LORD,' AND DO NOT DO THE THINGS WHICH I SAY?
47 Whoever comes to Me, and hears My sayings and does them, I will show you whom he is like:

Matthew 12:33-37 (NKJV)
33 "Either make the tree good and its fruit good, or else make the tree bad and its fruit bad; for a tree is known by its fruit.
34 Brood of vipers! How can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.
35 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things, and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things.
36 But I say to you that FOR EVERY IDLE WORD MEN MAY SPEAK, THEY WILL GIVE ACCOUNT OF IT IN THE DAY OF JUDGMENT.
37 For by YOUR WORDS YOU will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned."

John 14:12-17 (NKJV)
12 "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.
13 And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
14 IF YOU ASK ANYTHING IN MY NAME, I WILL DO IT.
15 "If you love Me, keep MY COMMANDMENTS.
16 And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever--
17 THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.

   Psalm 119:6 (NKJV)
6 THEN I WOULD NOT BE ASHAMED, WHEN I LOOK INTO ALL YOUR COMMANDMENTS.
Verb Piel usually expresses an “intensive” or “intentional” action.

   (3) God will hold YOU accountable to YOUR assignment  -  6
: To show the faithfulness of His Word

Matthew 7:21-27 (NKJV)
21 "Not everyone who says to ME, 'LORD, LORD,' SHALL ENTER THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN, but he who does the WILL OF MY FATHER in heaven.
22 Many will say to Me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?'
23 And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!'
24 "Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock:
25 and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.
26 But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand:
27 and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; AND IT FELL. AND GREAT WAS ITS FALL."

John 14:19-21 (NKJV)
19 "A little while longer and the world will see Me no more, but you will see Me. Because I live, you will live also.
20 At that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you.
21 He who has MY COMMANDMENTS AND KEEPS THEM, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I WILL LOVE HIM AND MANIFEST MYSELF TO HIM."
