Ephesians 5:15–16 NKJV
15 See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, 16 redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

1. The days are going to to get busier and busier, how we walk in these times, sets the Rhythm of our lives for the year.

Exodus 23:13 NKJV
13 “And in all that I have said to you, be circumspect and make no mention of the name of other gods, nor let it be heard from your mouth.
in Ephesians 5:16 it tells us to walk circumspectly, What does it mean
Exodus 23:13 tells us to walk circumspectly.

■ adjective cautious or prudent.

■ adjective acting with or showing care and thought for the future.

this is a hard thing for me, because I and I alone decide where my feet go.
when we think about walking circumspectly we look at the word prudent we see the word cautious and prudent.
when we look at the word for prudent we see that it means care and thought for the future.
we live between two extremes:
we live in a sensual world ( I don’t mean a world of sexuality) I mean a world that is completely run by the five senses: touch, taste, smell, sound.
then we live in the world of eternity. what we do in the sensual world of the senses can have eternal impact.
when you are saved you know that we will live forever, but we live in a temporal or temporary body.
we do have to take care of the temporal body.
the temporal body Needs rest and relaxation.

2. We have to learn rest:

Genesis 2:2–3 NKJV
2 And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done. 3 Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work which God had created and made.
Exodus 20:11 NKJV
11 For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it.
our bodies are made for the rhythm.
we are made to work rest and recreate.
I have a hard time resting.
how often do you take time to rest?
we all are busy we all have things
we need a chance to rest and reset with our people.

3. We need a time for recreation.

Exodus 32:6 NKJV
6 Then they rose early on the next day, offered burnt offerings, and brought peace offerings; and the people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.
Deuteronomy 27:7 NKJV
7 You shall offer peace offerings, and shall eat there, and rejoice before the Lord your God.
we have to learn to play a recreate again.
we are afraid sometimes because.
