Rejoice in the Lord (1-5)

Rejoice - a shout for joy, a cry of victory and joy!
Verse 3 - praise with a shout of joy! TeRuAh
When a people have their focus on the Lord and fill their heart with praise there is blessing!

Reflect on His Power (6-9)

His Creative power - 6
His Miraculous power, in Creation, the Floor, the Red Sea.
His power is to be feared and reveranced!

Receive His Counsel (10-15)

When a nation or people listen to God’s counsel their is peace and blessing. God said He would rebuke the devourer.
Revenue Act 1913 under Woodrow Wilson. Only 1% of income over $3,000 ($80,000 today). It only affected the top 3% of citizens.
The Lord is looking for a people who will wholly follow Him.
God’s counsel and plans will not fail, he will fulfill His purposes.

Rely Upon His Mercy (16-22)

The Lord is our Delieverer.
The Psalm begins with Praise and ends in Petition for His mercy.
