Romans 8:28

Introduction

To be a child of God is one of the greatest priviledges that we could ever enjoy. To know that the greatest Power in the universe is behind me means that I can't lose.

  • And I base this on not just the love that I have for Him, but on the love that He has for me.
  1. and because He loves me, I can't help but to believe that He wants the best for me.
  2. this also includes sometimes learning some hard lessons.
  3. and not even Christianity takes the threats out of life.
  4. but He promises that the circumstances that we face are not going to overpower us and destroy us utterly.
  • This is based on what we call the omnipotence of God, which is His ability to control every individual thing and circumstances and cause the problems to be no problem.
  1. so with my faith in God, all I have to do is to keep my eyes on God.
  2. and if He is not panicking, then why should I?
  3. just learn to watch the man in charge.

Everything In Your Life Has Brought You To A Predetermined Point

  • This is not for everybody, but for those who love the Lord.
  1. for those who reciprocate His love, He promises to work all things in your favor.
  2. so this promise is for Christians only.
  3. this is why we react differently.

The Pain In The Middle

  • And the real pain of going through is that you don't know what's going to happen in the middle.
  1. but the truth is that the middle doesn't matter when you already know that God has secured your victory.

God Is Concerned With The Greater Good!

  • Just ask John the Baptist, when it seemed as if it was not fair that he was arrested for his preaching of the truth when Jesus was still free and not responding to his incarceration the way that he thought he should have.
  1. John did not realize that there was a greater good, and that he was no longer necessary to the greater good.
  • So in God's plan, it's all inclusive.
  1. it's all about the greater good.
  2. God doesn't mind you crying for a little while if He sees that crying for a while will lead to a lifetime of real happiness.
  3. so God will let you cry today, if it means victory tomorrow.
  4. but even int he midst of your tears, He stills makes promises.
  5. He says that weeping may endure for a night, but joy is coming in the morning.
  6. but in order to get you ro the place of victory, sometimes you have to cry,
  7. but they that sow in tears shall reap in joy.
  • He doesn't mind you feeling pain for a while, if it means joy unspeakable and full of glory

  • So I'll come out in victory.
  1. so if your enemy is rejoicing now, he must not know your God.
  2. because neither life nor death, nor angels
