If God’s word is accurate

so i have titled this Sermon If God is this accurate
I’m going to show you a video of how a prophecy in Daniel that pertains to the book of Revelation that were studying.
And if that video was not enough for you here’s a photo of all the times that the Bible cross references one.
Some interesting things about the Bible and I don’t think we can say them enough
The Bible is a collection of 66 books
written by about 40 different people
over a span of 1,600 years of human history.
These writers were from different cultural, economic, geographical and educational backgrounds.
The Bible was written in three different languages — Hebrew, Greek and Aramaic.
It was written on three continents: Europe, Asia and Africa.
It contains many different styles and genres of literature.
The writers worked independently from one another at different periods of history. In fact, many of the writers never met another biblical writer.
Yet, amazingly, when these books were collected and put into one volume, one complete and profoundly beautiful story emerged that displays a perfect harmony of unity, theme, focus, message and teaching.
And that theme is this that we are broken people with flawed understandings and we need help. From the inside of our being outside of are being
Why
Here’s another video Bible project video on sin Missing the mark
Prov 3: 1-7 “1 My son, do not forget my teaching, but let your heart keep my commandments, 2 for length of days and years of life and peace they will add to you. 3 Let not steadfast love and faithfulness forsake you; bind them around your neck; write them on the tablet of your heart. 4 So you will find favor and good success in the sight of God and man. 5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. 6 In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. 7 Be not wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord, and turn away from evil.”
Solomon the writer of Proverbs Is like many good Parents We tell our kids one thing And a lot of times our lives reflect another Solomon neglected many of the things that are written in this passage. He was an extremely wise man but Just like today Knowledge Is not equal Godly wisdom.
Deuteronomy 17:14–20 (NLT)
14 “You are about to enter the land the Lord your God is giving you. When you take it over and settle there, you may think, ‘We should select a king to rule over us like the other nations around us.’ 15 If this happens, be sure to select as king the man the Lord your God chooses. You must appoint a fellow Israelite; he may not be a foreigner.
16 “The king must not build up a large stable of horses for himself or send his people to Egypt to buy horses, for the Lord has told you, ‘You must never return to Egypt.’ 17 The king must not take many wives for himself, because they will turn his heart away from the Lord. And he must not accumulate large amounts of wealth in silver and gold for himself.
18 “When he sits on the throne as king, he must copy for himself this body of instruction on a scroll in the presence of the Levitical priests. 19 He must always keep that copy with him and read it daily as long as he lives. That way he will learn to fear the Lord his God by obeying all the terms of these instructions and decrees. 20 This regular reading will prevent him from becoming proud and acting as if he is above his fellow citizens. It will also prevent him from turning away from these commands in the smallest way. And it will ensure that he and his descendants will reign for many generations in Israel.
Even though Solomon had great wisdom He lacked Godly Practice Of the information he had of God.
Because due to Ronnie’s gives a very clear instruction of the things that God did not want King’s to do and Solomon broke every single one of those Guiding rules.
God didn’t even want the Israelites to have a king He just said If you insist on getting a king Here’s the list of rules to keep that can check.
But God being omniscient knew this day was going to come Israel was going to abandon him As their king.
And that came in
1 Samuel 8:4–11a ,19 (NLT)
4 Finally, all the elders of Israel met at Ramah to discuss the matter with Samuel. 5 “Look,” they told him, “you are now old, and your sons are not like you. Give us a king to judge us like all the other nations have.”
6 Samuel was displeased with their request and went to the Lord for guidance. 7 “Do everything they say to you,” the Lord replied, “for they are rejecting me, not you. They don’t want me to be their king any longer. 8 Ever since I brought them from Egypt they have continually abandoned me and followed other gods. And now they are giving you the same treatment. 9 Do as they ask, but solemnly warn them about the way a king will reign over them.”
10 So Samuel passed on the Lord’s warning to the people who were asking him for a king. 11 “This is how a king will reign over you,” Samuel said. 19 But the people refused to listen to Samuel’s warning. “Even so, we still want a king,” they said.

1. Our understanding is limited

Proverbs 3:5–7 NLT
5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. 6 Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take. 7 Don’t be impressed with your own wisdom. Instead, fear the Lord and turn away from evil.
This is why we need the Christ’s spirit moving inside of us Because Tend to miss the mark With our limited understanding. Just because you have knowledgeOfSomething doesn’t mean you have the ability to know how it goes together But because God has all the understanding
Its like a thousand piece puzzle That he knows where every piece goes plus the picture Because not only does he have the picture He was created
So because as humans we have limited understanding Constantly are missing the mark We need God’s understanding Like the prophecies I showed you above we can trust his word to gain understanding and we can trust his Spirit to help us understand what his word is saying so it can transform our lives

2. Autonomy Is a trap

So often we think that Autonomy is the ultimate goal that when I get older I will be able to make all my own decisions as we think as a child but when you get older you realize you don’t haveAll the information and it’s not as easy as you thought it was.
That’s the been the battle since Genesis 3 The ability To choose Good And evil.
Genesis 3:5 (NLT)
5 “God knows that your eyes will be opened as soon as you eat it, and you will be like God, knowing both good and evil.”
God has one throne and that throne is to define what is good and evil We see that playing out in our day-to-day What is good what is evil is taking the vaccine good is evil.
Masking good is it evil is taking away our rights is protecting other people Who knows.
Trust the science but how do we know the scientists are telling us the truth. This pandemic is the Accumulation Of humans Ability to gather information But lack Understanding Of the whole picture Only God has that.

3. Be like Christ

The goal of every Christian Is to be transformed Into the image of Christ
2 Corinthians 3:16–18 (NLT)
16 But whenever someone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. 17 For the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. 18 So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord—who is the Spirit—makes us more and more like him as we are changed into his glorious image.
Because in the end Jesus Is going to be king In the end he’s the one who we will bow down and worship
Zechariah 12:10–13:2 (NLT)
10 “Then I will pour out a spirit of grace and prayer on the family of David and on the people of Jerusalem. They will look on me whom they have pierced and mourn for him as for an only son. They will grieve bitterly for him as for a firstborn son who has died. 11 The sorrow and mourning in Jerusalem on that day will be like the great mourning for Hadad-rimmon in the valley of Megiddo.
12 “All Israel will mourn, each clan by itself, and with the husbands separate from their wives. The clan of David will mourn alone, as will the clan of Nathan, 13 the clan of Levi, and the clan of Shimei. 14 Each of the surviving clans from Judah will mourn separately, and with the husbands separate from their wives.
1 “On that day a fountain will be opened for the dynasty of David and for the people of Jerusalem, a fountain to cleanse them from all their sins and impurity.
2 “And on that day,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, “I will erase idol worship throughout the land, so that even the names of the idols will be forgotten. I will remove from the land both the false prophets and the spirit of impurity that came with them.
God’s desire is for us to be like Christ is his desire is to be the king of our life.
No I said God wanted to be their king In the end Jesus Will descend from heaven And reign over the earth As King The God man Will become king.
Is king in your heart
