God the righteous Father

Psalm 11:7 ESV
For the Lord is righteous; he loves righteous deeds; the upright shall behold his face.
The Father can be described as a loving Father but he can not be loving without hating what is Evil.
Definition of Righteous: The quality of being morally right or justifiable.

What does God call Sin?

Exodus 20:1-17 “And God spoke all these words, saying, “I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery. “You shall have no other gods before me. “You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. You shall not bow down to them or serve them, for I the Lord your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and the fourth generation of those who hate me, but showing steadfast love to thousands of those who love me and keep my commandments. “You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes his name in vain. “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor, and do all your work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the Lord your God. On it you shall not do any work, you, or your son, or your daughter, your male servant, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor.”
Revelation 22:15 “Outside are the dogs and sorcerers and the sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.”
Galatians 5:19-21 “Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.”

The wages of Sin

Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
We deserve death
Psalms 51:5 “Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, and in sin did my mother conceive me.”
We deserved death before we were born. We can not uphold a single one of those commands.

The ultimate price paid

Jesus came and took the death that we deserve
Propitiation
Fancy word for pleasing or gaining favor from the divine one
Jesus was our “propitiation” and he who knew no sin, became sin, so that we could be set free from sin.
2 Corinthians 5:21 “For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.”
EMPHASIS ON OUR INABILITY TO LIVE WITHOUT SINNING AGAINST GOD AND THE BEAUTY THAT EXISTS WITHIN CHRISTIANITY BECAUSE OF THE BLOOD THAT COVERS US. JUSTIFICATION, SANCTIFICATION, REGENERATION! (SIMPLER TERMS OF COURSE)
