We are here to remember Pam Nelson, but let’s be honest who could ever forget her
She was cut out of a different cloth
One minute she was teasing you and the next she was letting you have it with her opinion
She loved you with hugs and kicks
That’s what we loved about her
What you saw was what you got, she didn’t have time for facades or pretending
Even until her last days she kept that great attitude
I believe that was a result of the joy and peace the resided in her
She knew where she was headed
Romans 14:8 “For if we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord. So then, whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord’s.”
She was a child of God and nothing meant more to her
She was willing to try every avenue to extend her time here on earth
Psalm 39:4 “O Lord, make me know my end and what is the measure of my days; let me know how fleeting I am!”
Isaiah 25:8 “He will swallow up death forever; and the Lord God will wipe away tears from all faces, and the reproach of his people he will take away from all the earth, for the Lord has spoken.”
