Month of Kislev
Month of Kislev
3rd month from creation and 9th month from redemption from Egypt
Last month was the month of the flood, this is the month of the rainbow - covenant
The name Kislev derives from the Hebrew word for “security” and “trust” - This is the month to enter into a new level of trust and rest
15 For thus said the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel, “In returning and rest you shall be saved; in quietness and in trust shall be your strength.” But you were unwilling,
4 For since the beginning of the world Men have not heard nor perceived by the ear, Nor has the eye seen any God besides You, Who acts for the one who waits for Him.
From ancient times no one has heard. No ear has understood. No eye has seen any god except you, who goes into action for the one who waits for him. (Evangelical Heritage Version)
You are the only God ever seen or heard of who works miracles for his followers. You help all who gladly obey and do what you want, but sin makes you angry. Only by your help can we ever be saved(Contemporary English Version)
The days are shortened —
Month to review your sleeping patterns so that you will be healthier in the year ahead - dark nights

12 Of Benjamin he said: “The beloved of the Lord shall dwell in safety by Him, Who shelters him all the day long; And he shall dwell between His shoulders.”
He said to Benjamin: “The Lord’s dearest one rests safely on him. The Lord always shields him; he rests on God’s chest.” (Common English Bible)
In this month tranquility and peace; even in the midst of warfare, you will have peace. Hebrew word Shalom really what it means
While you rest in God, you are in the offensive so that you have peace in the midst of the conflict. When we get tangled up and get out of our abiding place, we get into trouble
Kislev is associated with the Hebrew letter Samekh, which pictures trust, support, and coming full circle in developing our trust and confidence
The Lord’s encompassing support
God, you watch carefully over all your devoted lovers like a bodyguard,
but you will destroy the ungodly. Psalm 145:20 TPT
We must examine our motives each year during Kislev to break up and out of old patterns of mistrust that hinder our walk with the Lord and others in our circle of influence
Kislev is the month that Hanukkah begins and connects two months - Tevet
November 28, 2021 - December 6th
The message of Hanukkah is that in the midst of destruction
Hanukkah commemorates a historical event that took place in Jerusalem in the 2nd century BCE, when the Seleucid Greek empire was the ruling power. In 168 BCE, the king Antiochus IV Epiphanes outlawed Jewish practice and defiled the Jewish Temple in the city by installing an altar to Zeus Olympios and sacrificing pigs.
A small army of Jews, known as the Maccabees, rebelled against this religious persecution. They regained control over the Temple, removed the symbols of Zeus and built a new altar so they could once again offer sacrifices in keeping with Jewish law.
There was only enough oil to keep the Temple’s menorah, one of its most important ritual objects, burning for one day. But the flame stayed alight for eight days, until a new supply of oil could be found - the basis for the eight-day celebration of Hanukkah. (Miracle)
Miracle - נֵס - NEHS
The light will not go out
In the midst of any destruction, God will find a way to impart mercy on you - external, internal, physical or spiritual
Jesus - light of the world - John 10. This feast is mentioned only in the New Testament
We are the light of the world to bring the good news. We are the endtime warrior bride, the Benjamin generation to war against the enemy to set the captives free and bring a incredible harvest.
Be in peace and rest and win not only the battles but the war.
