Sickness (vs.25) - Sin is the worst sickness.

The Details (a certain woman)
God made us. He formed you.
Psalm 139:13-14 KJV [13] For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb. [14] I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.
Jeremiah 1:4-5 KJV [4] Then the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, [5] Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.
The Disease (had an issue of blood)
We all have a disease. We are sinful flesh and blood.
Romans 3:23 KJV [23] For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Isaiah 64:6-7 KJV [6] But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away. [7] And there is none that calleth upon thy name, that stirreth up himself to take hold of thee: for thou hast hid thy face from us, and hast consumed us, because of our iniquities.
Psalm 51:1-5 KJV [1] Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions. [2] Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. [3] For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me. [4] Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest. [5] Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.
The Duration (12 years)
Ever since we were born, we have had this disease. This woman had it a long time. We were made in the likeness of Adam (sinful flesh). This sin disease has been going on a long time, and everyone has had it.
Romans 5:12,18-19 KJV [12] Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: [18] Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; [19] For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners,

Surety (vs.26) - She knew what was wrong with her.

Woe (suffered many things of the physicians) (pain)
Working (Spent all that she had)
Wanting (Spent all that she had)
Worsening (Nothing bettered, but rather grew worse)
When you start feeling pain (conviction) about your sin, you’re going to try and work to fix it yourself, but you are just going to make your problem worse. The fact that you are wanting to fix it is a great thing though. It means God is dealing with your heart.

18 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing:

O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?

Solution (vs.27-28) - There is only one solution to sin.

Acknowledgement of Christ (when she heard of Jesus)
Romans 10:17 KJV [17] So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Acts 4:12 KJV [12] Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
Action to Come (came in the press behind and touched His garment)
Matthew 11:28 KJV [28] Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Matthew 16:24-26 KJV [24] Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. [25] For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. [26] For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
Authority to Cleanse (I shall be made whole (by touching Jesus garment))
Romans 5:6-9 KJV [6] For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. [7] For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. [8] But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. [9] Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
Isaiah 1:18 KJV [18] Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord : though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
1 Peter 1:18-19 KJV [18] Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; [19] But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:
Ephesians 2:8-13 KJV [8] For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: [9] Not of works, lest any man should boast. [10] For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. [11] Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands; [12] That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: [13] But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.
Ephesians 1:7 KJV [7] In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
John 10:27-29 KJV [27] My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: [28] And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. [29] My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.

They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

Bless the LORD, O my soul,

And forget not all his benefits:

3  Who dforgiveth all thine iniquities;

Who ehealeth all thy diseases;

4  Who redeemeth thy life from destruction;

Who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;

Surely he hath borne our griefs,

And carried our sorrows:

Yet we did esteem him stricken,

Smitten of God, and afflicted.

5  But he was pwounded for our transgressions,

He was bruised for our iniquities:

The chastisement of our peace was upon him;

And swith his stripes we are healed.

Soothing (vs.29) - Immediate relief, redemption, and recognition becomes clear.

Immediate Cleansing (Straightway the fountain of her blood was healed)
Ephesians 1:13 KJV [13] In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
John 1:11-12 KJV [11] He came unto his own, and his own received him not. [12] But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
1 John 3:1-2 KJV [1] Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. [2] Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
Immediate Clarity (SHE FELT IN HER BODY THAT SHE WAS HEALED)
1 John 5:13 KJV [13] These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
1 John 5:20 KJV [20] And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.
1 John 3:14 KJV [14] We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.
1 John 2:2-5 KJV [2] And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. [3] And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. [4] He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. [5] But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.
Hebrews 10:22-23 KJV [22] Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. [23] Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

Satisfaction (vs.33) - She knew the change that had happened within her.

Reverence (fearing and trembling, fell down before him)
Matthew 10:28 KJV [28] And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 KJV [13] Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. [14] For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
Proverbs 14:26-27 KJV [26] In the fear of the Lord is strong confidence: and his children shall have a place of refuge. [27] The fear of the Lord is a fountain of life, to depart from the snares of death.
Proverbs 3:7 KJV [7] Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil.
Realization (KNOWING WHAT WAS DONE IN HER)
Report (she told him all the truth)
Romans 10:9-10 KJV [9] That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. [10] For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Confession - to agree with that another, to say the same thing that another says. To declare openly.
Confessing is saying that you believe that Jesus is who He says He is, and that you are what He says you are, and you declare it to the world.
SHE TOLD JESUS THAT SHE WAS SICK, HE WAS THE ONLY ONE WHO COULD HEAL HER, AND HE IMMEDIATELY HEALED HER ON THE SPOT!

Serenity (vs.34) - We can go in peace, knowing what is in us. We are made whole through Christ.

Faith (faith hath made thee whole)
Ephesians 2:8 KJV [8] For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Galatians 3:6 KJV [6] Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.
Romans 3:19-28 KJV [19] Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. [20] Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin. [21] But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; [22] Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: [23] For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; [24] Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: [25] Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; [26] To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus. [27] Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith. [28] Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.
Fellowship (go in peace)
Philippians 4:6-7 KJV [6] Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. [7] And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
John 14:16-18 KJV [16] And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; [17] Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. [18] I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
Fullness (be whole of thy plague)
Romans 8:1-4 KJV [1] There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. [2] For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. [3] For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: [4] That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
