Mark 11:20–26 KJV 1900
And in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots. And Peter calling to remembrance saith unto him, Master, behold, the fig tree which thou cursedst is withered away. And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.
Introduction:
Most believer have read these words, but very few actually call His words to remember, or able to apply them to their everyday life.
It is one of the least exercise privilege the believer have.
Remembrance - The retaining or having in mind an idea which had been present before, or an idea which had been previously received from an object when present, and which recurs to the mind afterwards without the presence of its object.
Remember - used 352 times in the bible.
In every situation if you can remember what Jesus did, and what He required us to have.
Mark 11:22 KJV 1900
And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.
Have the faith of God.”
Such is possible or it would not be a command.
Man was created with God’s faith but doubt entered in at the fall.
Faith is restored in the new birth and if normally exercised and maintained it will grow to fullness and power.
This is where Jesus recieved his great strength from during his earthly ministry.
Jesus had faith in God the Father and God the Spirit and learn to exercise His God given nature.
While on earth He possess no power of his own. And neither possess you any power of your own either.
In order for us to tap into this unlimited abundant source of power, faith in God is required and it is not a option.
These scriptures are considered merely as promises, but they can also be considered as conditional prophecy to be fulfilled when certain terms are met.
Here, faith without doubting is the condition to meet if one wants the fulfillment of the benefits.
Verily - abhal, "truly. In truth; in fact; certainly.
Whosoever is defined as whoever. Any one; any person whatever.
Look at your neighbor and say, “that’s me”.
Whosoever will speak...
Whosoever will not doubt in his mind...
Whosoever will believe with faith (believe faith) the word that which he spoke...
4. You will have whatsoever you have spoken.
5. Our words are powerful when united with faith in God.
Desire - a strong feeling of wanting to have something or wishing for something to happen.
What things soever ye desire, when ye pray.
Pray - request or expression of thanks to a deity or other object of worship.
So when ye pray (request), believe (Utilize your faith) that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
Requirement For Answer Prayer
Forgiveness
If you have ought with any.
Forgiveness begets forgiveness itself.
Forgiveness is a sin and it is wrong, and it will, and it will render our prayer of faith to be non-effective.
