On Earth as in Heaven (11/7/21)

Oh, that You would [a]rend the heavens!

That You would come down!

That the mountains might shake at Your presence— Isaiah 64:1 NKJV

In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. 10 Your kingdom come.

Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven.

Matthew 6:9-10

Jesus Opened the Heavens for us.

When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and [b]He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him. 17 And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”

Matthew 3:16 NKJV

And Jesus cried out again with a loud voice, and yielded up His spirit.

51 Then, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth quaked, and the rocks were split… Matthew 27:50-51 NKJV

When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all [a]with one accord in one place.

2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting… 6 And when this sound occurred, the multitude came together, Acts 2:1-2,6a NKJV

· Knowing Heaven is open should change our Perspective.

o Of God’s values.

But he, being full of the Holy Spirit, gazed into heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God, 56 and said, “Look!

I see the heavens opened and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God!” Acts 7:55-56

o Of God’s heart for Harvest.

Acts 10:9-13

o Of the Future.

After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven.

And the first voice which I heard was like a trumpet speaking with me, saying, “Come up here, and I will show you things which must take place after this.”

Rev 4:1

· Many live as if Heaven is closed.

o Then Jacob awoke from his sleep and said, “Surely the Lord is in this place, and I did not know it.”

17 And he was afraid and said, “How awesome is this place!

This is none other than the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven!” Gen 28:16-17

· Access is through Prayer and obedience.

o When I shut up heaven and there is no rain, or command the locusts to devour the land, or send pestilence among My people, 14 if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

2 Chron 7:13-14

o Bring all the tithes into the storehouse,That there may be food in My house, And try Me now in this,” Says the Lord of hosts, “If I will not open for you the windows of heaven And pour out for you such blessing That there will not be room enough to receive it.

Malachi 3:10

o Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
