First thing we need to understand is:
It’s ok to ask
Many people feel guilty asking God for things, but the majority of the Lord’s prayer is asking.
The other part is praising:
The first and last part of the Lord’s prayer is praising God.
I believe most Christians feel guilty asking of God because they worry they are asking for selfish reasons.
And my words abide in you—When you and god are in sync than his will ultimately becomes ours.
I never understood someone who wishes their spouse bad because it’s like wishing bad in you.
Two became one you’re cursing yourself.
God desires to give you good and perfect gifts, however we need to learn to ask with his word in our hearts and not try to twist His word to fit our desires.
When we ask for his kingdom and His will it will be given to us.
For if we focus on God his desires and will become our prayers.
Come-Greek 2 tenses Future and present.
Yes we await for the future kingdom.
But Christ, the king, came to earth His kingdom is here and is territory is hearts, not land.
A kingdom is a kings Domain.
If God has his domain or rule over you than his desires will matter.
Or in the heart of you.
The kingdom of God, in the NT is compared to wheat, a mustard seed or levin.
So the kingdom of God is in constant growth.
I’m not as good as I once was-Beth you are better than you ever been.
God’s will is best:
How do you do God’s will?
Will to do God’s will- Desire mixed with action.
You will understand his Word
People who want their own desires are usually the first ones to twist God’s word to fit them.
Instead of twisting themselves to fit God’s word.
