The Sceptre of Justice

Thank you for having me - Greet Apostle Isaacs — Great work you are doing using technology to pierce the darkness

When I asked Apostle Phil - what was the theme for this sunday - ministerial ethics..always check on another persons platform! Dont just barrel in with whats on your heart!

Well he said 2 things - “the Sceptre of Justice” or “from transition to manifestation”

Something leapt in my Spirit - when He said the sceptre of justice

I wanted to talk a little about the God of Justice — He is a God of justice

AND THE NEED FOR THE CHURCH TO INVOKE THE GOD OF JUSTICE- IN OUR LIVES PERSONALLY BUT ALSO CORPORATELY AS AN ECCELSIA - navigating perilous and wicked times like this

Psalm 45.6

Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever; a scepter of justice will be the scepter of your kingdom. New Living Translation Your throne, O God, endures forever and ever. You rule with a scepter of justice. English Standard Version Your throne, O God, is forever and ever. The scepter of your kingdom is a scepter of uprightness; Berean Study Bible Your throne, O God, endures forever and ever, and justice is the scepter of Your kingdom.

The Sceptre we understand deals with authority - it deals with the sovereignty of GOD - THE SCEPTRE WAS A ROD OF AUTHORITY - IT CARRIED WEIGHT AND POWER WHEN GIVEN TO KINGS and Priests --- that next to GOD AUTHORITY BELONGS TO YOU!

Jesus Himself is described as a sceptre that will come out of Israel and restore righteousness to the earth

and here in this text - the Pslamist makes an emphatic statement - YOUR THRONE OH GOD IS FOREVER — and there is a way that YOU RULE — WITH JUSTICE — IT IS THE AUTHORIY OF YOUR KINGDOM

MANY TRANSLATIONS TRANSLATE THAT WORD JUSCTICE TO RIGHTEOUSNESS — BECAUSE JUSTICE IN ITS SIMPLEST FORM MEANS SETTING THINGS RIGHT!

COME ON — WE SERVE A GOD WHO DESIRES TO SET THINGS RIGHT!

Deuteronomy (Chapter 32)

3 For I proclaim the name of the LORD:Ascribe greatness to our God.4 He is the Rock, His work is perfect;For all His ways are justice,A God of truth and without injustice;Righteous and upright is He.

HOW POWERFUL IS THIS DECLARATION

INJUSTICE FLOWS FROM CORRUPTION

OPPRESSION/VIOLENCE/DECIET/INDUCED POVERTY SYSTEMS - YES WE COULD BE TECHNICAL AND SAY BEHIND EVERY EVIL IS A PRINCIPLAITY AND A POWER

YET JUST AS GOD WORKS THROUGH MEN- THE ADVERSARY WORKS THROUGH MEN AND SYSTEMS - DESCRIBED HERE AS A PERVERSE AND CROOKED GENERATION

INJUSTICE FLOWS THROUGH THE CORRUPTION OF MEN— AND THE SYSTEMS THAT THEY SET UP

WELL IN THE NEW TESTAMENT WE ARE CALL TO SHINE LIKE LIGHTS IN THE MIDST OF A CROOKED AND PEVERSE GENERATION

IN A GENERATION THATS WARPED/ IN A GENERATION WHERE PEVERSITIES INCREASE ALMOST UNBRIDLED — WE ARE TO BE BLAMELESS AND PURE AND SHINE LIKE STARS IN THE MIDST OF THEM

NOT in our seperate gated communites — not in our little christian convents --- SHINE IN THE MIDST OF THEM

PIERCE THE DARKNESS - HOW CAN WE DO THAT WHEN WE ONLY FIND OURSELVES IN LIGHT SPACES!

Something quite dangerous has been happening in the church for a number of years --- we have become so inward focused --- and it shows --- its shows even in how we have dealt with and handled the Pandemic---

and now that most churches have opened up again — i think there is a figure that 20 percent of congregations have not come back to the building --- and we are crying about it…lamenting about it!! WE ARE LIKE WHEN ARE YOU COMING BACK AND WHAT WE SHOULD BE DOING IS SAYING A GODLY GOODBYE AND DECLARING DO YOU KNOW THE FIELDS ARE WHITE WITH HARVEST--- THERE IS A WHOLE WORLD OUTSIDE, COMMUNITY OUTSIDE IN THE DARK--- DEALING WITH THE INJUSTICES OF SATAN, OF CORRUPT GOVERNMENTS AND BUSINESSES AND COUNCILS

LETS GET BACK TO THE COMMISSION THAT NOT ONLY WERE WE CALLED TOO, BUT WE WERE ASSIGNED POWER TO BRING CHANGE AND TRANSFORMATION AND MANIFESTATION!!

DONT SPEND ANOTHER DAY WEEPING FOR THE NEVER COMEBACKS!!

SO BACK TO JUSTICE ...

WELL IF THE CROOKED AND PERVERSE - BRING ABOUT INJUSTICE --- WHAT SHOULD THE RIGHTEOUS DO?

WE SHOULD BE ARBITERS OF JUSTICE - DISPENSERS- FIGHTERS —FREEDOM FIGHTERS--- BECAUSE GOD IS NOT THE ONLY ONE WITH A SCEPTRE - THE SCEPTRE WAS GIVEN TO PRIESTS AND KINGS WITH THE IDEA THAT THEY WOULD CONTINUE - THE PRINCIPLES - THE LAWS, THE STATUTES OF YAHWEH IN THE EARTH --- THAT THEY WOULD FLOW AND OPERATE WITHIN THAT REMIT

WHO ARE THE KINGS AND PRIESTS — WHO HAVE BEEN MADE KINGS AND PRIESTS BY THE SALVIC BLOOD OF THE KING OF KINGS AND HIGHEST OF HIGH PRIESTS --- THERE IS A MANDATE UPON US TO MAKE THINGS RIGHT--- WHERE EVER WE SEE INJUSTICE — THERE SHOULD AT LEAST BE A VOICE --- AT WORST A PRAYER — AT BEST ADVOCATE TO PUTS FEET TO THEIR PRAYERS!!

AND SEEK IN WHATEVER WAY WE CAN TO REPRESENT GODS HEART WHEN IT COMES TO JUSTICE

PROVERBS 11.1The LORD detests dishonest scales, but accurate weights find favor with him.

ITS AN ABOMINATION TO HIM — BECAUSE EQUITY IS SO IMPORTANT TO GOD

HE TOLD ISRAEL in Leviticus 19.35

You shall do no wrong in judgment, in measurement of weight, or capacity.

GOD HATES INJUSTICE - SO HE GIVES US A SCPETRE AND SAY CORRECT IT --- INVOKE ME --

THE GOD WHO IS DESCRIBED AS HAVING RIGHTEOUSNES AND MERCY AS THE FOUNDATION OF HIS THRONE--- OUT of HIS AUTHORITY - JUSTICE FLOWS

I ALSO FELT LEAD TO SAY THIS AS WELL

ISAIAH (Chapter 30)

18 Therefore the LORD will wait, that He may be gracious to you;And therefore He will be exalted, that He may have mercy on you.For the LORD is a God of justice;Blessed are all those who wait for Him.19 For the people shall dwell in Zion at Jerusalem;You shall weep no more.He will be very gracious to you at the sound of your cry; When He hears it, He will answer you.

THE REASON THAT JUSTICE IS INTERWOVEN INTO THE FABRIC OF LEGAL SYSTEMS --- THE IDEA IS TO MAKE THINGS RIGHT WHEN A LAW HAS BEEN INFRINGED

AS SONS WHO HAVE BEEN CALLED UNTO HIM AND JUSTIFIED - ANOTHER LEGAL TERM- THAT WHAT WAS ONCE CONDEMNED HAS NOW BEEN DECLARED NOT GUILTY AND THE RECORD AGAINST US HAS BEEN EXPUNGED!

THERE HAS BEEN CRIMINAL TRESPASSING IN YOUR LIFE BY AN ENEMY THAT KNOWS THE LEGALITY OF HIS INFRINGMENT

HE HAD NO RIGHT TO YOUR BODY, NO RIGHT TO YOUR CHILDREN, NO RIGHT TO COME INTO YOUR HOME WITH PLAGUE AND DISEASE— AND NOW GOD IS SAYING INVOKE ME…I AM THE GOD WHO MAKES THINGS RIGHT — I AM THE GOD WHO WILL ADVOCATE ON YOUR BEHALF AND ALTHOUGH THE ENEMY CAME IN 1 WAY — SURELY HE MUST FLEE 7 WAYS

THE GOD OF JUSTICE WILL UPSET THE SYSTEMS OF EVEIL ORDAINED AGAINST YOUR LIFE!
