Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Sometimes God bring situations in our lives to draw us closer to Him. But there are many times we as his children make bad decisions. We do things out of our flesh and we have not taken the time to pray or ask God for discernment in the situation. As women we get in a hurry and make some bad moves that can be life altering for us and our families. We in essence create hell in the hallway.

God often closes some doors in our lives and as we wait for change to come to our life and our situation it become hell in the hallway.

We wonder where God is. While we wait

We wonder why God does not move faster While we wait

We wonder if God sees us in our trouble, While we wait

We wonder if God really cares, While we wait.

Well I got news for you

God is right where you left him

God moves in his time and not ours

God sees and know all things

God really cares for you

We should be praying and fasting

We should be asking God for patience to endure. We should be asking God for wisdom and staying power. We should ask God for strength and discernment. Then and only then can we find out why the door was closed in the first place.

As women we like to be in control o things

But God is not a dial up God. God does not need a ring back tone, nor can we send him a text message as not to be inconvienced by dialing digits. God cannot and will not be ordered around

As women we focus so much on the door being closed then we miss why it was closed in the first place, Maybe there was danger on the other side of the door. Maybe there was some heartache on the other side of the door. Maybe there are some relationships that God wants to sever and we need to leave them on the other side of the door

We sometimes don’t care about what problems lie ahead we only care that the door has been closed to us or we care about getting what we want for the moment. We want what we want and we want the door to be open now because we had plans going through that door. We had our route all planned out using that specific door. We knew what time to leave using that door. We knew the time we would arrive if we used that door. We knew what stops we were going to make for snacks if we use that door.

But God has thrown a monkey wrench in our plans. God has decided to change our course and now we have to wait in the hallway of hell in a hellish situation. We have to wait on God to open a door or a window or something. And at that point we don’t care just get us out. God can we use the fire escape? God can you tear the roof off? We just need to escape the hell in the hallway.

As women of God in 2009 Hell in the hallway is has a different face than it did say 30 years ago. Hell in the hallway in this age is Having your home foreclosed and not knowing where you will go

Hell in the hallway no cash on hand so even if you could find the place you could not make the down payment.

Hell in the hallway Loss of job and income for your family

Hell in the hallway Children that don’t understand what a recession or a depression is

Hell in the hallway when the bank failures and you lose your money in the process

Hell in the hallway

Government failures

Hell in the hallway is seeing your credit score that you have tried to keep good crash to a place that you have never seen before

Hell in the hallway

Homosexuality and Pregnant teenagers on the rise while you try to keep your instill God’s Word in your children and keep them safe.

Hell in the hallway

Alcohol dependence & Drug addition,

Hell in the hallway

Adultery and fornication all around

Hell in the hallway

Hell in the hallway

War and rumors of wars

Hell in the hallway

Sickness and pain trying to claim your body

Hell in the hallway

Crime on the rise in your neighborhood and local parking lots

Hell in the hallway

Fear in what the people on the new have to say to you about the time you live in.

It is a tough situation

It is a tough spot to be in

It may look gloomy and the forecast may not be favorable

It may look like you have lost everything

There is not a lot of room in the hallway

The hallway is not very wide

The hallway gets crowded really quick

The hallway is difficult at best to try to pass someone

But as women of God who’s report are you going to believe. We shall believe the report of the Lord. II Timothy 1: 7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. We must learn to lean and depend on our God

We know God is sovereign

We know God is in control

We know God loves us and will keep us

Deuteuromy 31:8 And the LORD, He [is] the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed."

We know God is our Dwelling place

Proverbs 1:33 But whoever listens to me will dwell safely, And will be secure, without fear of evil."

God is able Ephesians 3:20 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,

We must use what we know to be factual information as we wait on God to move on our behalf

We must learn to cry out to God not to Transunion or Experian not to GM or Ford not to Citibank or JP Morgan but to God

Jehovah Raah _ The Lord is my shepherd

Jehovah Jireh _ The Lord is my provider

Jehovah Raphad _ The Lord who prepares my resting place

Jehovah Nahal _ The Lord who leads me

Jehovah Shalom _ The Lord my restorer

Jehovah Tsidkenu _ The Lord my righteousness

Jehovah Shammah _ The Lord is there

Jehovah Nissi _ The Lord is my banner

Jehovah Maccaddesh _ The Lord my sanctifier

Jehovah Revawyaw _ The Lord who makes me wealth

Jehovah Yahweh _ The Lord my divine salvation

We must go through the fired to get our peace back. We must go through the fire to get our comfort back. We must go through the fire to get wisdom from God. We must go through the fire to gain knowledge

We must go through the fire to get your stuff back. We must go through the fire and trust God

You gotta love God enough to wait

You gotta love God enough to stand still

You gotta love God enough to keep on praying

You gotta love God enough to keep on serving

You gotta love God enough to keep on tithing

We must be like David in Psalms 25

Recognize when we have messed things up. We must acknowledge that we have made a mistake and pray for Gods forgiveness and protection. Psalms 25: 2-5 O my God, I trust in You; Let me not be ashamed; Let not my enemies triumph over me. Indeed, let no one who waits on You be ashamed; Let those be ashamed who deal treacherously without cause. Show me Your ways, O LORD; Teach me Your paths. Lead me in Your truth and teach me, For You [are] the God of my salvation; On You I wait all the day.

As I set in the hallway of hellLord let me not be ashamed . As I set in the hallway of hell

Lord don’t let my enemies win Show me your ways God and teach me your paths. Ask God for training in the hallway of hell. God can teach you and put you on the proper pathway

Since you gotta be there you should make good use of the time. Ask God for truth, God show me your truth in my situation And teach me to walk in your truth

These represent the request that David made to God he always remembered that he was not in control. David knew that God controlled his destiny. David knew that God is faithful to his people even in the midst of a wrongful situation. David knew that Gods character will not allow him to break his promise to us even when we come up short.

Psalms 27:14 Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.

Psalms 33:20 Our soul waiteth for the LORD: he [is] our help and our shield.

Psalms: 37:7 Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him:

Psalms 37:34 Wait on the LORD, and keep his way, and he shall exalt thee to inherit the land:

Psalms 40:1 I waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.

Psalms 59:9 Because of] his strength will I wait upon thee: for God [is] my defense.

Psalms: 62:5 My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation [is] from him.

Psalms 130:5 I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope.

I know the hallway is hell

I know you want out quickly

I know you don’t understand what happened or how you got there or maybe that’s your excuse that you don’t know

I know you want to be free

I know you want to feel good

But you must wait on God

I know it’s hot in the hallway

I know you want the door to open quickly

I know you have a plan but it might not be God’s plan

I know you know what you are doing but God knows better

I know you can do it yourself or so you think but that’s how you got in this mess

I know you are woman hear you roar but don’t be a roaring lion with no teeth and no bite

I know you have done it before and you probably messed it up then to

But you must wait on God

If you wait on God

He will make you free from shame

If you wait on God

He will restore your integrity and preserve you

If you wait on God

He will show you mercy and protect you

If you wait on God

You shall receive an inheritance from the earth

If you wait on God

He will answer your prayer and give you hope

If you wait on God

He will supply your need and give you great council

If you wait on God

He will bring justice to your situation

There are 7 things you must do while you wait on God

1: Pray - Psalms 54:2 Hear my prayer, O God; give ear to the words of my mouth.

2. Wait patiently: - Psalms 145:15 The eyes of all wait upon thee; and thou givest them their meat in due season.

3. Single Mindedly - Psalms 62: 5 My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation [is] from him.

4. Expectantly – Psalms 123:2 Behold, as the eyes of servants [look] unto the hand of their masters, [and] as the eyes of a maiden unto the hand of her mistress; so our eyes [wait] upon the LORD our God, until that he have mercy upon us.

5. With Longsuffering - Psalms 130: 5-6 I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope. My soul [waiteth] for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: [I say, more than] they that watch for the morning.

6. Quietly without complaint – Lam 3:26 It is] good that [a man] should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD.

7. Continually – Hos 12:6 Therefore turn thou to thy God: keep mercy and judgment, and wait on thy God continually.

Many have waited on the Lord

Jacob waited Gen: 49:18

David waited Psalms 25:4-5

Isaiah waited Isaiah 18:17

Jeremiah waited Jeremiah 14:22

Micah waited Micah 7:7

Simeon waited Luke 2:25

All creations waited Psalms 104: 25-28

God waits on you Isaiah 30:18

Life is a battle whether you are prepared or not

Life is a battle weather you want to participate nor not

Life is battle weather you are rich or poor

Life is a battle in good times and in bad times

You must have enough faith to outlast your troubles

You must have enough faith to fight on

You must have enough faith to wait

You must have enough patience to endure

You must trust God enough to stand

God has blessed us beyond what we can imagine and sometimes we miss it

We have two eyes but that is not the blessing by itself. The blessing is that we can see with those eyes. We have two ears the blessing is that we can hear. We can eat what we like the blessing is the ability to digest that that we consume.

As women we must be reminded of all the blessing that God gives us each and every day. As women of God we must stay on the forefront of the battle and keep pressing our way

If our greatest need had been information

God would have sent us and educator

If our greatest need had been technology

God would have sent us a scientist

If our greatest need had been money

God would have sent us an economist

If our greatest need had been pleasure

God would have sent us an entertain

But our greatest need was forgiveness

So God sent us a Savior

He wrapped Him up in a manger and sent him down through 42 generations. God sent us a Savior and he knows what you need. He knows you are a busy woman

He knows you look like you have it all together. He knows your fears

But today is your day to release all your

Worries

All you anxiety

All your fears

What ever it is you need

God’s got it for you today.
