We are going to through a series called Limitless and have been exploring
Limitlessness of God, that was the first sermon
All things work together for Good
The Father is Pleased
Today we are going to look at another dimention and that Limitless power source within us.
We are going to start learning how we plug into this source and live a limiteless life, intially and later how not only we plug in a receive but how we impart the same to others.
We are today going to start with Mark 9 with a little miracle that Jesus did:
Then they brought him to Him. And when he saw Him, immediately the spirit convulsed him, and he fell on the ground and wallowed, foaming at the mouth. So He asked his father, “How long has this been happening to him?” And he said, “From childhood. And often he has thrown him both into the fire and into the water to destroy him. But if You can do anything, have compassion on us and help us.” Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”
But if You can do anything, have compassion on us and help us.
This Sounds like our prayer at time isn’t it.
Jesus answers that man and says “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”
Jesus was not putting condemanation on the man or saying if you believed in the first place your would have been healed.
He just said if you can believe, all things are possible.
We have made this believe as word of works, you have to believe and you’ll see this or that happen in your life but that is not believing.
Believing is simply is a response a revelation. When you see the revelation than your believe.
You all are familiar with the ”Samaritan woman at the well “
Jesus give her word of knowledge and she get the revelation and believes.
Than even though she goes to the village and bring them to Christ , this was there response
John 4:42 Then they said to the woman, “Now we believe, not just because of what you told us, but because we have heard him ourselves. Now we know that he is indeed the Savior of the world.
So when they have the personal revalation believing is easy part.
So when you see the invisible in the Spirit then you will believe it not otherwise.
At times you see people quickly believe just because you shared something but if that person has not had their own personal revelation that belief will be shallow and as soon as a contracdiction or oppoisition come aganist the person they give up and they walk away from faith.
The limitless life we are talking about is coming to that place where we know that we know that nothing is impossible with Jesus.
Like Father of the boy who was having seizures beleieved that there was nothing impossible with Jesus.
So was when we grow in our in our revelation of Jesus we also come to that place where we know all things are possible to him that who believes.
Before going any further I would like to clearl somethinng.
Beliving is not so much an act of out will it is a simple response to a revelation.
We all have these experiences, as soon as Spirit reveals something from the word I beleieved, it was reflex. Didn’t take too much effort to believe.
I another words we shouldn’t sweat believing or sweat faith.These two words are not words of works. But lot of the time we have turned these into works.
“Faith is a trust in the one who promised.”
When we have faith we are not putting faith in ourselves to accomplish something. Our faith and trust is in one who promised.
Faith comes from trusting the promiser that He is able to do it.
And beleiving is the same way, Jesus was saying if you can believe than all things are possible to him that belives.
Jesus is saying if you can trust me , if you can believe I can do it than you know what I can do it. But not only I can do it but I have pulled you into a revelation that by seeing I can do it , I am bringing you a dimention that You can do it.
So faith is really a trust in the promiser the more trust you have in the promiser more faith you have.
You canot have faith without Trust.
So when you trust deeply you don’t need lot of Faith. Trust is relational isn’t it, kind of relatioship you have with the person determines who much you trust him. So when you trust the person you don’t need much faith to know what He or She can do for you or respond.
In another words Trust is the platform for faith to stand on, so without trust there is not faith.
Does that make sense?
Lets turn to Romans and read about Father Abraham.
This will hightlight that Faith is trust in the promiser. Faith is having a belief that the one who promised is able to do it.
It is not trusting your ability or having faith in you. It is trust in the one that Promised.
What then shall we say that Abraham our father has found according to the flesh? For if Abraham was justified by works, he has something to boast about, but not before God. For what does the Scripture say? “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” Now to him who works, the wages are not counted as grace but as debt. But to him who does not work but believes on Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness,
Abraham Beleived God, that it was accounted to him for righteousness.
Where does the righteousness come from, It doesn’t come from your actions it comes from your trust in His actions.
Jump into Romans 4:16-23
Therefore it is of faith that it might be according to grace, so that the promise might be sure to all the seed, not only to those who are of the law, but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all (as it is written, “I have made you a father of many nations”) in the presence of Him whom he believed—God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did; who, contrary to hope, in hope believed, so that he became the father of many nations, according to what was spoken, “So shall your descendants be.” And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead (since he was about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb. He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform. And therefore “it was accounted to him for righteousness.” Now it was not written for his sake alone that it was imputed to him,
Therefore it is of Faith that it might be according to grace.
4:16 Therefore since faith sponsors the gift of grace, the promise is equally secured for all the children.
(as it is written, “I have made you a father of many nations”) in the presence of Him whom he believed—God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did;
Abraham eyes shifted from the what he saw in the phsical to the unseen with whom all things where possible
No matter what you see dead remember He is able to bring back to life, there is nothing that He cannot reveive or bring back to life.
He can create new things out of nothing
Even when you see no sign of things you desire, He is Elohim who can create things out of nothing.
And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead (since he was about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb. He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God,
See even though he knew he was beyond producing a seed and deadness of Sarah’s womb. It says He did not waver at the promise but was strengthen by Faith.
Since leaving his own country Abraham experienced God’s faithfulness and relationally He saw how Lord protected and delivered him, favored him and made him so wealthy. He knew that there was nothing impossible with God, so in midst of all the contradiction he chose to trust in the promiser.
Here is the Anchoring verse
and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform.
Whatever God promised he ws able to perform, thats the aith of Abraham.
Faith of Abraham had nothing to do with his body or Sarah’s body.He had total trust in the one that promised him.
So lets write this down
“Faith comes from trust in the promiser”
This takes pressure off of yourself.
We read faith comes by hearing and hearing he word of Gof.
We take this as a work and memomrise and confess and declare.
The word hearing the is the word that God speaks to you specifically, its the Rema word word, the now word, then you memorise the word and that word becomes a centring word. Whenever we face contradiction and things happens that is compeletley opposite to what we expect that the spoken words of God becomes a centre word that brings us back and anchors us in Him.
So when He speaks a now word to you there is Trust in it. That trust in the one who can perform the word that has been delivered.
There are lot of examples I can share:
I remember almost 18 years ago when we were planning to renovate our house, we had engaged the builder to renovate and the work started but the Bank funding was not apporved.
Maria asked me how are we going to nake the first payment following week. I remember I went for a walk and sat down at bus stop and the Lord spoke to him we’ll have to funds that we need. I came hom and told Maria that we’ll have the funds, we didn’t know how and I didn’t care how I know that I know He spoke to me and that was enough. This was on a Friday or Staturday and by Monday we received all the funds for the project.
Remember its the word that He speaks to your or the word that He quickens to your heart.
So limitless life is lived out of trust in the Fathers ability to do everything that He promised to do for us.
And He placed all things in our hands.
What Peter says to us:
as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue,
So do I trust this is true, if I do then I have faith.
Its not my ability to to produce it but in what He saidn he has given me.
Now here the corporate word, he has given us the roadmap to get there.
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.
Its our trust in what Jesus has done that begins to open this dimention to the limitless life now.
Key is to plug into the power source that place of acended, elevated consiousness life the higher dimension and being able to zone into that.
Remember everything evolves out of Jesus.
But the one who joins himself to the Lord is one spirit with Him.
“With Him” you’ll see this in itallics, whenever you see a word in itallics that means it was not in the orginal manuscript.
But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.
This is important distinction because when we read “with Him” that still sounds twoness
there is only one Spirit , its not yours Spirit and Jesus Spirit co-mingling.
With Crucifixtion, resurrection and accession you and me have become one Spirit .
So we grow in our consciousness of this truth. Spirit of God is going to ake us into that life Jesus promised .
To that place where all things are possible to him that believes.
“ You are one Spirit with the source”
Write this down
Paul said it this was:
“I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.
It is no longer I who live but its Christ who lives in me.
There is one life, One Spirit
He goes on to say faith that I live by is Faith of Christ or faith of Son of God.
There is one Faith’
there is one life
there is one Spirit
there is one Faith
Jesus Said its the Father that is in me who does the works and its is the same with us.
If we have one life, one Spirit and One faith then our faith is in the covenant that we have made in Christ with the Father.
Scripture tells us that HolySpirit will always point us to Jesus.
He never draws attention to himself. Jesus said when the Spirit of Truth comes He’ll show you and speak what I have done and He will enlighten you.
HolySpirit will always high light you that you are in one union with Christ.
When we understand we are in full union and one spirit with the Lord we know we have access to the power source.
I want to clear something I am not talking about properirty and material things when we talking about plugging in to the the divine power source, even though those things are always inludedand by product.
I am talking about wisdom, revenation and knowedlge.
When God asked Solomon what he wanted? Which was an open question and he could have asked for anything but He asked for wisdon.
You read Jesus saying I only do what I see my father do.
Where did Jesus have access to what the Father said and what Father did, how did he access that information.
Secret of gaining access to the power source to live an unlimited life lies in the word “Secret”
There are two definition for the word Secret in Hebrew.
Lets first read Proverbs 3:32
For the perverse person is an abomination to the Lord, But His secret counsel is with the upright.
So the first defination of Secret is “ Private Counsel”, this is more in context of family.
There are decisions that we make in the family together before anyone else knows.
Now this has to do with the our fellowhsip with Christ as one Spirit.
Jesus had access to the counsel of the Father and the Spirit, three of them ast down and plan together.
Because you and me are one Spirit with the Lord , we have full access to the counsel of the family.
They counsel on the inside of you. The root of the word secert means to sit down together.
Second meaning of the word Secret is to do with Safety.
As one spirit we we sat down and we are safely tucked away with him in the secret place.
So the secret of the private counseld with the Father Son and the Holy Spirit , tucked away safely is the power source.
The secret of the Lord is for those who fear Him, And He will make them know His covenant.
This how h passion translation reads
There’s a private place reserved for the devoted lovers of Yahweh,
where they sit near him and receive
the revelation-secrets of his promises.[a]
Do you love God than you have access to this Secret place near him and have access to receive relations and secrets of his promise.
Look at Psalm 91:1-2
He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.”
Shadow is = covering and protection.
So not only you receive revelation, you are also protected.
Our secret place is wthin us, this is where we hear it.
Word of the Lord for you is not always going to come through the prophet.
Trust me I am not against the prophets, I think you should know what by now.
What I am saying is you are equipped, there is no prophet in the in the lord that could tell you what you are not equipped to hear yourselft from God.
Each one us have to sit with the Father and learn from ourselves.
The secert place is where we listen, we don’t do lot of talking. Trust me we don’t have much to contribute at that table other than just sit and listen.
So when you hear what they are speaking and when we speak that there is power.
“For He whom God has sent speaks the words of God; for He gives the Spirit without measure.
You have unlimited Spirit dwelling within you.
That Spirit enables you to speak the word of God that brings life.
“The Father loves the Son and has given all things into His hand.
Are you a Son? than know that He loves you.If you are one Spirit with the Lord , He has placed all things into you hands because you are as much a Son as Jesus is.
John 17:23
I in them and You in Me--that they may be perfectly united, so that the world may know that You sent Me and have loved them just as You have loved Me.
Jesus knew who you have become in union with Him that’s why He said: You shall not only do these things but much greater than these.
This always been true for us we have not not realised it that’s all. we are awakening to these truths so we live as God intented for us to live.
REMEMBER THERE IS NO MORE SEPARATION ANYMORE WE ARE IN UNION WITH GOD.
One of the main reasons we don’t live in the fullness or limtless life is because we do things that is contrary to the word of God and do things as if there is still separation between us and God. And some how through various activities we think we can close that gap with acutally doesn’t exisit.
we are one Spirit with Him
WE ARE COMPLETE IN HIM
WE ARE SEATED WITH HIM
WE ARE THE TEMPLE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
WE HAVE ACCESS TO EVERYTHING THAT HE AS ACCESS TO
Secret place is place of union and communion with the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
Its not something your strive towards its the truth about you current reality.
This is what it means first Seek His kingdom and his righteousness and all these things will be added to you.
We think if we give money, or do this charity work, or do this or that is seeking the kingdom. What you do is by product of you communion in the secret place. You coonected to secret place produces your giving and doing things and all things are added to you.
WHATEVER YOU HAVE TRUST FOR YOU HAVE FAVOR FOR.
Somethings would have hit you some missed you, some things you caught other went over your head and that’s all good, as we continue to study and meditate on these things we see growth in revelation and favor amen.
