MISSION STATEMENT
We believe that family is at the very heart of the gospel and belief compels us to connect with our communities.
At Come Connect we demonstrate the Love of God by dedicating our lives to Him and living in His Word
Isaiah 62:10-12 “Go out, go out through the city gates; prepare a way for the people!
Build it up, build up the highway; clear away the stones!
Raise a banner for the peoples.
Look, the Lord has proclaimed to the ends of the earth, “Say to Daughter Zion: Look, your salvation is coming, his wages are with him, and his reward accompanies him.”
And they will be called the Holy People, the Lord’s Redeemed; and you will be called Cared For, A City Not Deserted.”

KEY STATEMENTS ON BUILDING THE VISON
STATEMENT #1
We must remember God’s faithfulness.
If were going to build on the vision we are going to have to remember Gods faithfulness.
We cant build on the vision without recognizing the faithfulness of God.
God has been faithful to us from the very beginning church.
God has been faithful in a every
Adversity
Trial
Situation
Look at the old Testament
moses always reminded the people of Isreal of the faithfulness
when it was time for Joshua to lead the people of Isreal into the Promise land, Joshua reminded the people of Gods faithfulness.
Even Jesus reminded His disciples of the faithfulness of God, that He was out of the house of David and that God promise that he would send a savior.
church we cant build on the vision without first remembering the faithfulness of God.
But second statement
2. We can not live in experiences
It does not matter if the experience is positive or negative.
You cant build if you are living in experiences especially past experiences
we cannot live in past experiences because the will of God is not behind us, The will of God is always in front of us.
Jesus understood this and thats what He was trying to teach His disciples in
People know this as the mount of Transfiguration
Statement # 3
We must live in what we have been taught
To build on the vision we have live on what we have been taught.
What happens to us sometimes is that we get so pre occupied with the experience that we forget what we were taught.
Jesus didn’t bring Peter, James & John up there to live in the experience Jesus brought them up there so that they can learn that He was Jesus the Son Of God.
and they did not learn from the experience because when Jesus was crucified they forgot about the transfiguration.
and so it is so important as we celebrate our one year anniversary that are so grateful for what God has done
We appreciate His faithfulness but we cannot live in past experiences
Instead we have learn form those experiences and live on what we have been taught.
so our focus has to be on what we learned and not what we experienced
Thats what Jesus was trying to do with the disciples and thats what we want to establish here at come connect church.
Some of you have been here from the Beginning and some are just coming on in But regardless of how and when you got here i want you to live on what you been taught.
And Here at Come Connect Church we have learned to have Hope in Hopeless situation for Jesus is the Hope of the world
