Make This Day A Day of Thanksgiving To Our Redeemer!
Make This Day A Day of Thanksgiving To Our Redeemer!
Psa 118:21 I will praise thee: for thou hast heard me, and art become my salvation.
Psa 118:22 The stone which the builders refused is become the head stone of the corner.
Psa 118:23 This is the LORD'S doing; it is marvellous in our eyes.
Psa 118:24 This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
ON this day, this evening we are gathered here in the house of God as believers of Jesus Christ to celebrate his goodness and mercy.
This is the season of thanksgiving and we have assembled together to recollect and give audible praise to God for his acts of kindness toward us throughout this year.
We as sheep of the Lord’s pasture acknowledge God’s keeping power and give testimony to continued provisions.
We as David in Psalm 23 when reflecting over the trails of this year of continued pandemic Covid, record high gas prices, poisoned politics, food prices increasing every day, car dealerships with bare inventories and crime rising as the rate of inflation.
We came here tonight because we can say: Psa 23:1 The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
Psa 23:2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
Psa 23:3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Psa 23:4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Psa 23:5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Psa 23:6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.
