How to Have Unhindered Prayer--Submission

1 Peter 3:1-12.

V1. Likewise, ye wives.

V7. Likewise, ye husbands.

Go to Ephesians 5:22-28, 33.

Submission.

1. Submission to the Lord.

Christ is our pattern. Look at 1 Peter 2:21-25.

2. Submission to each other in marriage.

Matthew 18:19.

3. Submission to each other in church, v. 8.

a. One mind--hom-of’-rone--harmonious,

Rom. 12:16

b. Compassion--sympathēs--suffer with, sympathetic.

c. Love--philadelphus--brotherly love.

d. Pitiful-- eusplagchnos--tender-hearted, sensitive to the needs.

e. Courteous--philophrōn--kind, friendly.

4. Submission to all others.

vv. 9-11.

a. Not seek revenge.

b. Blessings.

c. Hold your tongue.

d. Hate evil.

e. Do good.

f. Seek peace and pursue peace.
