Psalm 50
Perfect Authority
God has the right and the ability to be the judge.
vs3 shows us a picture of the power of God.
God’s role as judge flows out of His perfect righteousness (vs2, 6).
God has the right to judge what is His (vs10-12).
Perfect Judgment
God’s standard is both perfect and clear (vs16-21)
God perfectly gives the law and perfectly brings judgment on
law-breakers.
God’s justice can never be compromised (vs10-13).
God’s judgment is inescapable (vs22).
Perfect Salvation
It is unique that the judge would also be the one to save.
When we are ordered rightly, we experience God’s salvation (vs23).
Don’t miss out on the power of God being with you.
As God delivers, we glorify Him (vs15).
