Lesson 8 Don’t Change God’s Word The Bible must be our final and absolute authority. Memory Verse 2 Timothy 3:16–17 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. Definitions False Prophets people who want to make up their own false religions Deuteronomy 18:20 But the prophet, which shall presume to speak a word in my name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, even that prophet shall die. Class Notes 1) False prophets do not speak True God’s words. 2) God doesn’t mind false prophets.
