Lesson 9 The Gospel Is Good News God provides salvation from sin through Jesus. Memory Verse 2 Timothy 3:16–17 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. Jesus was born as a baby. Jesus died on the cross for sinners. Jesus rose from the grave. Many people saw Jesus before he went up to heaven.
