Ephesians 2:8 NKJV
For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,

by grace have you been saved completely in past time, with the present result that you are in a state of salvation which persists through present time, and raised us with Him and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, in order that He might exhibit for His own glory in the ages that will pile themselves one upon another in continuous succession, the surpassing wealth of His grace in kindness to us in Christ Jesus

Grace Defined-favor or kindness without regard to the worth or merit of the one who receives it and in spite of what that same person deserves.

Grace is God’s Love in Action!

1 John 4:8–11 NKJV
He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.

God Loves Us because of who He is, not because of who we are! This causes true humility!

C. S. Lewis had a perfect definition: “Humility is not thinking less of myself. Humility is thinking of myself less.
Philippians 2:3 NKJV
Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself.

Grace is free only because the giver himself has borne the cost." Phillip Yancey

God Proclaimed Himself in Exodus 34.5-6
Exodus 34:5–6 AMP
And the Lord descended in the cloud and stood with him there and proclaimed the name of the Lord. And the Lord passed by before him, and proclaimed, The Lord! the Lord! a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abundant in loving-kindness and truth,

gracious= chanan- to bend or or stoop in kindness to an inferior, to show or bestow favor

Perspective- No little boy or girl starts Their life wanting to be a prostitute, a drug addict, alcoholic, homeless, in prison, etc...
Matthew 7:1 NKJV
“Judge not, that you be not judged.
Matthew 7:1 AMP
DO NOT judge and criticize and condemn others, so that you may not be judged and criticized and condemned yourselves.

We come to God from a place of love, not to get love! Because God is Love!

Psalm 31:19 The Message
What a stack of blessing you have piled up for those who worship you, Ready and waiting for all who run to you to escape an unkind world.
1 Peter 1:18–19 NKJV
knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.
Romans 8:15–16 NKJV
For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.” The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God,
2 Corinthians 1:3–4 NKJV
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.
1 John 5:13 NKJV
These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.
