The War In The Womb

Genesis 25:19–28 AMP
19 And this is the history of the descendants of Isaac, Abraham’s son: Abraham was the father of Isaac. 20 Isaac was forty years old when he married Rebekah, the daughter of Bethuel the Aramean of Padan-aram, the sister of Laban the Aramean. 21 And Isaac prayed much to the Lord for his wife because she was unable to bear children; and the Lord granted his prayer, and Rebekah his wife became pregnant. 22 [Two] children struggled together within her; and she said, If it is so [that the Lord has heard our prayer], why am I like this? And she went to inquire of the Lord. 23 The Lord said to her, [The founders of] two nations are in your womb, and the separation of two peoples has begun in your body; the one people shall be stronger than the other, and the elder shall serve the younger. 24 When her days to be delivered were fulfilled, behold, there were twins in her womb. 25 The first came out red all over like a hairy garment, and they named him Esau [hairy]. 26 Afterward his brother came forth, and his hand grasped Esau’s heel; so he was named Jacob [supplanter]. Isaac was sixty years old when she gave birth to them. 27 When the boys grew up, Esau was a cunning and skilled hunter, a man of the outdoors; but Jacob was a plain and quiet man, dwelling in tents. 28 And Isaac loved [and was partial to] Esau, because he ate of Esau’s game; but Rebekah loved Jacob.

The War In The Womb

1. Isaac’s intercession
Genesis 25:20 (NLT)
20 When Isaac was forty years old, he married Rebekah,
Genesis 25:26 (NLT)
26 Then the other twin was born with his hand grasping Esau’s heel. So they named him Jacob. Isaac was sixty years old when the twins were born.
Genesis 25:21 NLT
21 Isaac pleaded with the Lord on behalf of his wife, because she was unable to have children. The Lord answered Isaac’s prayer, and Rebekah became pregnant with twins.
His Prayer took 20 years to manifest, But because he accepted the Promise he didn’t need to help God in getting it done like his daddy did.
Prayer must be practiced to perfect it!
Genesis 24:63 AMP
63 And Isaac went out to meditate and bow down [in prayer] in the open country in the evening; and he looked up and saw that, behold, the camels were coming.
Before he had a wife he was a meditating/praying..
One thing a strong Prayer life will prove is, God’s timing in answer prayer is up to him.

4 And, behold, the word of the LORD came unto him, saying, This shall not be thine heir; but he that shall come forth out of thine own bowels shall be thine heir. 5 And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be. 6 And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness.

God promised Abraham an heir, Issac is that heir but it took 25 years for Issac to show up!!
Ike & Becca didn’t have the same issue as his parents. They Knew what God said so they waited..
It Took 20 years to manifest.. but when she conceived
Point # 2
Genesis 25:21 AMP
21 And Isaac prayed much to the Lord for his wife because she was unable to bear children; and the Lord granted his prayer, and Rebekah his wife became pregnant.
An Unskilled reader of the word, would interpret that Issac prayed once or twice and bamm she was pregnant.
Na.. it was a 19yr & 4month prayer that took place.
The Prayer was based on a promise that was made before he was born. But it was the reason why he was here...
Tell Someone, Your a product of someones prayer...
Your next pregnancy is contingent on you accepting what God has promised you, before you where born...
Look at your neighbor and tell them you about to get pregnant with possibilities…
BEFORE YOU GET ALL HAPPY.. Note this..
Some of the things we have prayed for, believed for will come with great opposition.
Genesis 25:22 (NLT)
22 But the two children struggled with each other in her womb. So she went to ask the Lord about it. “Why is this happening to me?” she asked.
Genesis 25:22 (AMP)
22 [Two] children struggled together within her; and she said, If it is so [that the Lord has heard our prayer], why am I like this? And she went to inquire of the Lord.
It’s the War In The Womb..
Genesis 25:23 AMP
23 The Lord said to her, [The founders of] two nations are in your womb, and the separation of two peoples has begun in your body; the one people shall be stronger than the other, and the elder shall serve the younger.
The devil don’t want you to have what God has promised.
In my 18 years of Pastoring, my hardest test was with @ 21 Pershing St. Project
The thing i prayed for The thing i saw the promise before it was manifested.
It took 11 years to get here and bamm opposition in its highest form.. Not externally.. Internally..
It was a womb war
Ive learned if its worth having its worth fighting for..
So i had to pray and praise him on a Promise..
I accepted that God is in control and all he wants me to do is partner in full-filling the vision..
Point #3
Ask Your neighbor, Do you even know what your having?
At the Church I grew up in, we all ways had 3 women pregnant at the same time.
This Church seems to have 2-3 folks closing on houses at the same time..
Tap your neighbor and tell them Me and You about to have twins up in this piece..
The first question is.. Whats coming out first..
2nd Question What will you love and what will you hate?
Romans 9:13 AV
13 As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.
Genesis 25:25 AMP
25 The first came out red all over like a hairy garment, and they named him Esau [hairy].
Genesis 25:26 AMP
26 Afterward his brother came forth, and his hand grasped Esau’s heel; so he was named Jacob [supplanter]. Isaac was sixty years old when she gave birth to them.
Genesis 25:28 NLT
28 Isaac loved Esau because he enjoyed eating the wild game Esau brought home, but Rebekah loved Jacob.
We seem to be attracted to what comforts our flesh, and seem to be challenged not to like whats attracted to our Spiritual Growth..
I hear the Lord saying it’s grasping you heal...
This is a War of The Womb and what your giving birth to is a blessing and curse.
A blessing if you obey God,
A curse if you disobey God…
