Intro: I hope you have been blessed by the breakouts and sessions today. I have been tasked with the topic of the implications of the Gospel, or we can say living in light of the Gospel message. Now that I am a believer, now what?

This is Apologetics on the Block conference. Apologetics comes from the Greek word apologia which means to make a defense. So when we as believers speak about Apologetics, we are making a defense or crafting arguments for the Christian faith.
Now you can craft all of the arguments to defend the Christian Faith, but what if the life your living doesn’t match the Gospel message defending? If you e preach and defend a Gospel that transforms lives, but your life is not transformed and you are living a sinful lifestyle, are you really making an apologetic for the Gospel?
No, in reality what you are doing is defaming, blaspheming God because you are saying the Gospel is true but it can not change my life. This has been named by some as Christian Atheism, you acknowledge Jesus with your lips but deny him by your lifestyle. Our apologetic of the Gospel needs to be words of truth backed up with lives transformed by the truths of the Gospel. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the power of God for salvation.
