Misconceptions about hell: (not biblical)
Annihilation: a theory those who die without salvation are punished for a time and then annihilated or destroyed forever.
There is no everlasting fire or punishment.
Universalism: (not biblical) a theory some believe that the wicked will be punished for a time and they will be brought to their senses and saved - even Satan himself.
Purgatory is a intermediary place between heaven and earth or hell where there is still time to effect eternal change.
There is no place in scripture that indicates any kind of chance for salvation beyond the grave.
The book of Hebrews makes it plain that each person has one life and then judgement.

What happens when people die?
Prior to the resurrection Jesus Christ, each person died went to a place called Hades, the place of departed spirits.
There were two vast compartments to this this place, paradise and hell.
A great gulf separated the two places.
Those who were godly went into paradise and those who were not went to hell.
But when Jesus was crucified, the bible says that His eternal spirit went into Hades where He took all the godly saints with Him.
The ungodly remained where they were, awaiting their call to the Great White Throne Judgement for their final audit.
The souls of the ungodly who die today go to hell to join those who have preceded them, and they too, await the final judgement described in Rev. 20:11-15
Today a godly person is one who is redeemed because of the indwelling Christ, passes away his or her spirit is immediately with Christ for eternity.
Later,at the resurrection, the body - now glorified and immortal-will be reunited with the soul.
But when an ungodly person dies, his or her soul goes to Hades to that compartment known as hell to await the final judgement.
Just prior to that judgement, the second resurrection will occur - that is, the resurrection in which the unrighteous dead are brought to life.
Their souls will be returned from hell and united with their mortal bodies.
They will be judged before God as the books of their lifelong records are reopened.
And then - body and soul - they will be consigned forever into hell.
Hell is not a reform school, but a terrifying place that was prepared for Satan and his sinning legions of angels.
Hell is total separation from God.
Hell is a place of darkness.

Somehow the unquenchable fire gives off no light, and the lost souls in hell will never see a thing.

Satan has tricked a lot of people and has befriended them, but the judgement will reveal that Satan has held you in absolute contempt.

God’s plea is to receive Jesus as

God created heaven for those who choose to live for Him.
A faithful doctor will tell you the honest truth about any sickness you had.
A Godly minister will warn you about hell.
We all come to church to hear truth and I hope that we believe in that tvruthh.
One day, soon and very soon, the wrath of God is going to be poured out and all the devil with his angels will be tossed into the lake of fire.
