God’s Blessing
God’s Blessing
To Bless means “to fill with benefits, either as an end in itself or to make the object blessed a source of further blessing for others.”
Uses of Blessing: Calling on God to bless a person in their life. Praise, God, men & women, objects. Greetings, salutations, invocation of “peace.”
God Blesses our lives regularly
But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. PHI 4:19
Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. James 1:15
Genesis
And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth. Gen 1:22
King James Version (Chapter 1)
And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. Gen 1:28

The Blessing Passed
Noah and family was blessed by God. Abraham was blessed by God. Gen 12:2 Others saw this. Gen 24:35 God blessed Isaac. Gen 25:11
Unconditional Blessing
Abraham’s family line would be blessed and grow. All nations of the earth would be blessed through him.
Obedience Activates GOD’s Blessing
Genesis 27:27 (KJV 1900)
Isaac Blessed Jacob and Esau differently. Gen 27:27-29; 35, 39-40
Jacob is blessed by his father, and given a charge. To marry within the family, not a heathen woman. And to receive the blessing of God in the land. Gen 28:1-5
Genesis 32:26-29 (KJV 1900)
And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me. 27 And he said unto him, What is thy name? And he said, Jacob. 28 And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed. 29 And Jacob asked him, and said, Tell me, I pray thee, thy name. And he said, Wherefore is it that thou dost ask after my name? And he blessed him there.
How we can be blessed
By knowing and obeying God
By obeying our parents
By making wise decisions
