what is common among all the things Jesus lists here?

these are all things that the leaders, who have none of this, would say are the result of sinfulness

not a cause for blessing or rejoicing to God

Blessed is the one who is content to reach eternity

not the one who is motivated by life on this earth

Application

This is what causes multitudes from miles and miles to come to see and hear him and be close to him

He offers what no one else does; mercy and grace rather than blind judgement
