May everyone stand and read aloud
Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, to the mountain which Jesus had appointed for them. When they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some doubted.
And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.
This Will be the key passage that I will be looking at for the next two nights My Prayer for you is that when you leave here tonight you leave encouraged that you leave here empowered that you leave here compelled to do His will to Seek First the Kingdom of God. I pray that tomorrow each one of you brings two friends to hear the Wonderful good News and Word Of God let a Fire be lit deep within our Spirit and our Soul Let the Holy Ghost be awakened in ever area of your lives
Tonight My focus is going to be on the last commandment given to us by Christ Himself and how we in our generation have become to comfortable for too long .
Lets read the text again

Go Therefore....................................Go therefore and Make Disciples Somebody say Go therefore and make disciples baptizing them in the name of the father son and Holy Spirit
Where have we gone what have we don who are the new disciples that we have made. This is a real question The church has got it backwards lately we sit around and wait we wonder why the church isnt growing
We say oh it must be that we dont have childerns programs
We say oh well its because we dont have a exciting youth leader
we say oh its becasue we dont have a great praise team the music is just off
we say oh the pastor isnt preaching right he is out of touch
we say oh its because of facebook
oh its because of covid
oh its deer season
oh the cowboys are on.......................... and the list goes on and so does the complaining
one thing i dont hear is what im here to talk about which is biblical by the way
if we look back to that list its carnal its worldly its the gathering up of the teachers that come to please the people not God
Lets look at the heart of the problem
the church has become weak because its become lazy
There I said it oh we oh boy...... I had to get that off my chest, you know the best thing about preaching a event like this ..... i dont have to get the calls on Monday lol ...........................
no but seriously the church has god lazy and because it has become lazy it has become weak because it has become weak it has become unimpactful instead of unmoveable. Now dont get me wrong there is still a reminant just as there was in isreal but it is small of people so filled with the Holy Ghost they cannot keep it in they cannot contain Him He must be set free to anyone and everyone that comes in our daily lives, but the reminiant is small
So much carnal Christianity
So much Worldliness in the Church
The church cannot be effectual if it is not set apart the church can not be the light if we are covered in darkness the church can not give hope if it is hopeless we have become weak because we have let the enemy in our midst we have become weak because we have in the name of love compromised
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong.
But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear;
For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
So we are not to be afraid but trust in the promises of God we are to be bold unapologetic when it comes to sharing Christ in our lives
Your life as a follower of Christ should be so saturated with Him with His word that wherever you are whoever you speak to purposeful or not you will talk about Christ for he is as much a part of you as you are of him
Immersion
Do not judge yourselves by your selves
For we dare not class ourselves or compare ourselves with those who commend themselves. But they, measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.
Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you are disqualified.
He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.
We will talk more on this tomorrow
but our lives should imitate Christ Just as his disciples dis after Christ rose again everywhere Christ went he spoke of God and so did his disciples this was the amazing thing about the persecution of the early church because as the fled with there lives they continues to pour out the truth the love the hope that they found in Christ and the church grew like a wild fire
Our churches are not growing they are not thriving they are not compelled by the love by the hope by the mercy and power of God they are dying why why is our Country becoming so Godless
One because we are told it would but it starts and ends at the church we are His bride His body of his church and the church is weak its sick its dying because we have let politics in the church we have let outside influence dictate how we live our live in the name of love we dont share the gospel for fear it may offend or fear of rejection my God if the Apostles did that in light of the fear of death you would have never heard the Gospel
Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world. And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.
Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.
WE are to be in this world but not of this world you cannot love God and the things of the world
Therefore go into the highways, and as many as you find, invite to the wedding.’ So those servants went out into the highways and gathered together all whom they found, both bad and good. And the wedding hall was filled with guests.
“But when the king came in to see the guests, he saw a man there who did not have on a wedding garment.
The church has become so worldly it doesn't desire holiness that is too much for many they want the benefits of Christ but not the sacrfices of surrendering the things of this world they want the blessings of Christ and thier friday night liquour they want the healing of Christ but they also want their pornography they want the uplifting of the holy Ghost but they want thier swearing cussing seaxualizaion of secular tv and radio they are not fully in the hands of God they want the world and God but brothers sisters it doesnt work that way he wants all of you no nothing
he tells us to go out to the byways and hyways and compell them to come in
He tells us to go out and make desciples of all the nations
Tonight Im going to ask you where are you are you part of the holy ruminant of Gods people serving the Lord your God with your mind heart body and soul or are you a worldy carnal chrstian more on the fence than in the palm of The Father Tonight I challenge you if you even have the slightest doubt of where your heart lies come noe come to the father surrender the alchol surrender the secular ty the cussing the wordlyness surrender the fear surrender the laziness be set free by His Power By his grace by the Blood of Christ
And if you are certain I pray that this steers you in the right way I pray that it ignights a fire deepin your soul to no longer be quoiet but be so imersed in His word in prayer that He comes out in all areas of your life that the whole world will know Who is is to you and who He is to them
We cannot keep hoping to grow the church by recycling members from other churches we must hear the commandment of out Lord and saviour and Go so tonight so tomarrow I pray you go bring two friends tomorrow may thier souls be change and set free
