Selling the House

I still remember when Kathy and I moved to Wilson. We had made our move here contingent on the sell of our home. We put it on the market in Asheville, and, while we had a few people to come and look at it, we had no offers on the table for 2 months. We waited and waited, living in limbo. Finally the church rented us an apartment so we could come and get started to work.

To be honest, I was a little nervous. We were moving here with real estate that hadn’t sold. I kept praying but nothing was happening. Not only that, I also knew that people here in Wilson were praying as well. It seemed like God wasn’t answering. So, we moved to Wilson, not really sure how it was going to work out. We needn’t have worried. Within a month of moving, it was all settled. God provided a buyer and settled the matter. He vindicated our decision to follow Him and I want you to know this morning that He will do the same in your life. I know that when you think about following God it almost makes you break out in a cold sweat.
