Angels and Angelic Ministry

Jesus Christ has the pre-eminence in all things. Colossians 2:18 points out the error of angel worshipping.

Angels (Gr. Aggelos, masculine) are never mentioned as female.

People do not become angels.

Jesus is not an angel.

Angels gave the OT law, Heb 2:2; Acts 7:38,53

Christ is the mediator of the better covenant (better is used 13 times).

The appearance of angels

In Matthew, angels appear to Joseph and Mary in dreams. In Heb 13 we find them mingling among people, unknown guests or strangers unaware.
