Arch=chief, suggests an order or class of angels.

1.      Michael, Daniel 10:21; 12:1 "great prince"

2.      Daniel 10:13, "one of the chief princes"

3.      Revelation 12:7-9, "warrior angel; commander"

4.      Gabriel, Daniel 8:16-19; 9:20-23; 10:8-11:1; Luke 1:19,26 "messenger angel."

II.                Colossians 1:15-18; Ephesians 1:17-20; 6:12- show an established order among both God's and Satan's angels.

A.                Daniel 10:13-11:1, Satan's under rulers over physical kingdoms.

III.             Differences of angels-- some without wings, Hebrews 13:1

A.                Watchers, Daniel 4:13-23.

B.                 Elect Angels, 1 Timothy 5:21.

C.                 Demons - disembodied spirits.
