Romans 12:1–2 ESV
I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
Ephesians 6:12 ESV
For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.
2 Corinthians 10:3–4 ESV
For though we walk in the flesh, we are not waging war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds.
Since the battlefield is the mind, how then do we develop, prepare the mind for battle?

Spiritual/Invisible vs. Physical/Visible

Heavenly places - euphemism for the spiritual realm. You can’t see it so it’s invisible
When sin manifest itself what you see is the fruit of the issue or manifestation and not necessarily the root.
The physical world manifest what’s in the spiritual realm.
The demonic world wants you to live in the world of the 5 senses.
He wants to fix and condition you using the 5 senses or use others who know only the 5 senses to influences you
Picking fruit not addressing the root cause – not getting to the origin of the problem
If all you see is what you see, then you are not seeing all there is to be seen. It is the invisible that effects the visible. Failure to address the invisible and spiritual cause will fail to lead to a visible and physical cure.
Not-for profit world

Know the Enemies Methods

2 Corinthians 2:10–11 ESV
Anyone whom you forgive, I also forgive. Indeed, what I have forgiven, if I have forgiven anything, has been for your sake in the presence of Christ, so that we would not be outwitted by Satan; for we are not ignorant of his designs.
Ephesians 6:11 ESV
Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.
Satan’s scheme is to trick you because he does not want you to see him for what he is. He wants to get you away from the protective covering of God so you see things not from a Godly perspective but from a fleshly, physical, material perspective.
Three times in Eph 6 (vs 11, 13, 14) Paul tells the Ephesian saints to Stand or Stand firm. In other words DO GO NOWHERE!!
Stand firm against the schemes of the Devil – Demons don’t want you to figure out their methodology
One of Satan’s method is to be overly concerned with how people see you.
Man going to market
Satan’s overarching scheme is to deceive trick and bamboozle. He operates by sleight of hand

The Only Power That Satan And Demons Have Is The Power That You Give Them.

Let this sink in
· If they’re defeated, how come I’m not winning. Adam and Eve ceded power to the Devil
You told the Devil thru sin and circumstance, through yielding to him that it’s ok to rule my mind, rule my world, rule my emotions, rule my will.
I give you permission to tell me I am a woman even though I was born a man,
I give you permission to tell me I’m not really a woman though I was born a female,
I give you permission to tell me I need drugs, can’t shake drugs, b/c drugs are what keep me going.
I give you permission to tell me I need that drink, gotta have that drink, can’t live w/o that drink
I give you permission to tell me to be depressed, go to bed depressed, wake up depressed.
I give you permission Satan and the demons to tell me I need to live the next 10 years of my life in misery, defeat and hopelessly
The Devil operates by consent and by cooperation
Colossians 2:10 ESV
and you have been filled in him, who is the head of all rule and authority.
Colossians 1:13–14 ESV
He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
Our position has changed
Hebrews 2:14–15 ESV
Since therefore the children share in flesh and blood, he himself likewise partook of the same things, that through death he might destroy the one who has the power of death, that is, the devil, and deliver all those who through fear of death were subject to lifelong slavery.

Philippians 4:8 ESV
Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.
