What are you grateful for?

Take a moment and start to list your blessings. Those of you online chat them in so we can share together this morning.

Being thankful is hard.

Let me state this at the beginning.

Respect those who do the ministry.

This is not just about respecting leaders, though we must, but those who are doing the work of Christ among us.

The work of the church is for ALL!

Notice the words 14-15.

Do good!!!

It seems easy to do good to those in the church but we are commanded to do good to those outside as well.

People are not our enemies!

We can attack ideas. We can attack

Persevere in: rejoicing, praying and giving thanks.

Why? for this is God’s will in Christ.

Give thanks not for but in.

Paul does not diminish the pain of life; neither do we.

Leave room for the Spirit.

We cannot control all things. We must not control all things.

Test all things with Scripture.

Scripture above all else.

Test against motive and purpose.

Is it meant to encourage, convict or to spread fear and anxiety.

Above all look to Christ.

He makes this possible.
