Knows they were singing that song. I can't help but think all of us. I can relate to that song. All of us have been through times in our life where we couldn't do it alone.

He's enough. Jesus is enough. The gospel is enough in the power of God is enough. And we don't have to walk this journey called life alone because he wants to walk it with us. I want to invite you to turn this morning. It's a Romans chapter 6 verses 16 through 18. And again, I want to thank mr. Miss Carly for singing that song this morning. So Paul is riding to the people. There were always writing this book of Romans. He's trying to explain to the people as we've already read through the previous chapters that there is freedom from the penalty of sin. There is freedom in Jesus Christ, and we no longer have to be doomed eternally because we have this opportunity through Christ to be saved through his grace. But Paul is beginning to instruct these Believers that while we have been free from the penalty of sin. He also wants to, I don't want this to understand, we don't have to be enslaved to this any longer in this life. It's not just about going to heaven, in escaping. Hell. It's also about learning how to be free in this life and what he wants us to understand this morning and all of us is going to have this, a moment of truth. The Moment of Truth, the call to obedience. We're going to see this morning that we have, but two choices. We're either going to be a slave to sin or a slave to righteousness. Let's read Romans chapter 6, and verse 16. Do you not know that the one to whom you present yourself as slaves for obedience, you are slaves of that same one whom you obey either of the resulting in death or of obedience resulting in righteousness, but thanks be to God that don't, you were slaves of sin. You became obedient from the heart, to that form of teaching, to which you were entrusted. And after being free from sin. You became slaves to righteousness. And so, there's the choice for us this morning. If we're either going to be a slave to sin, and whatever were a slave to what that's who we're going to go pay. If you're a slave that means you have a master, whatever, you're a slave, whoever your master is, that's who you're going to obey. That's who you're going to follow orders from. So we're following orders from the sin of this world and the Flash of this world, or we're going to be a slave to the righteousness of God. We have a choice to make. Every single one of us has a choice that we have to make this morning. This moment of truth. You probably heard that expression before the Moment of Truth, can be explained this way when faced with a Crossroads of Life decision. It is a choice that will ultimately test and reveal one's character. This decision can make or break a person's reputation. That's one moment can change a person's career forever. It could even cost you a profession. You see how sweet sometimes have what they call a big game moments with his football or basketball or baseball. Maybe it's a World Series and the bases are loaded. There's two outs and you're up to bat. This could be a Moment of Truth, a defining moment in your career politicians during election season often. Have debates that are televised how they answer those questions as a Moment of Truth for them on which way the election might go.

I believe that we're also faced with these moments of Truth as people. You see we have a moment in our life when we're going to be faced with the ultimate Moment of Truth. And that is. What are you going to do with the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ? You see, we're not going to have an excuse this morning because I'm going to explain the gospel of Salvation. It's A B C & R. We accept what Christ did for us at the cross of Calvary. We believe that he died and rose again, and confession is made with our mouths under salvation, and we repent of our sins before God. And God says, I will save you.

Whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be. Say we got to accept believe and confess and we got to repent and we got to turn from one to being a slave in terms of being a slave of righteousness. That is everybody's Moment of Truth. This is a moment that will completely not change your life, what you don't change your eternity.

We're all going to face God one day. Every man woman and child is going to stand before God Almighty. He's going to look up on our heart and here's what he is going to see. What did we choose in that moment of truth. Did we choose Christ? Did we choose his sacrifice and his love and his blood at the cross of Calvary. Does God know me through his son, or did we remain a slave to the sin of this world into the flesh? These are the moments of Truth. And so this morning, I want to speak to you, for just a moment about the Moment of Truth, which is simply this, or you going to be obedient to the call of God. He's calling you. If your loss, he's calling you to Salvation this morning. If you're saying he's calling you to be a slave to righteousness, we don't have to be in prison anymore about her. We can't change on her own but God can do a work in a little change. Our lives in eternity forever. It's something we can't do, we are not alone. He is worthy here. We are to worship why? We here to worship, because we not a slave to see it anymore. Where a slave to righteousness. It's over here this morning to give God the glory and the things first John, chapter 2 and verse 3 says this. Buy best. We know that we have come to know him. If we keep his Commandments. If we ask for that call to obedient. Then one who says, I've come to know him and does not keep his Commandments is a liar and the truth is not in him, but whoever follows his word and him a love of God is truly been perfected by this. We know that we are in him. The one who says that, he remains in him all himself. Also walk just as he walked, there is the progression of our faith because we trusting me trusting because we love him and we love him because what he first loved us.

And so this call to obedience is much more than just lip service this morning. It's more than just saying, we love God. This scripture tells us, he will know, they will know whether or not. We really love God, by the way, we're obedient and keep his Commandments. Loving God has to move from a noun to a verb. It has to move from an emotion to an act of obedience. When we seize This Moment of Truth, In This Moment of Truth is before us. And we finally submit everything to God, it accomplishes three things this morning. Number one, it reveals what we believe about God, when we are in for the called, it will be Nyan. It's a demonstration to others. We're actually saying this is what we believe about God. You see we don't know what we don't trust there for RBD reveals the belief that we have in Christ and if we believe that he is the Son of God, we believe that he is the forgiver of seeing if we believe he is a Risen Lord, if we believe he's coming again and he's a gracious and loving and forgiving God, if we believe that, he is the only way to be made right before God. And we believe that he deserves our unconditional love. Unconditional worship. Everybody else is going to see that we've answered the call to be a beating in to be a slave to righteousness. They will know by the fruits that we bear. They will know if we're faithful to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Why we don't obey what we don't trust me. Trust God. We're going to Vegas. Otherwise, the Bible calls this a liar and love of God, is not in ICC by being obedient. We devote Our Lives to these truths that we just mentioned. And we put them on full display for all the world to see you. See it reveals that we are not ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, fight with me.

I'm not a shame. That's how we ought to live. We are leaving this place, not ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We should never be embarrassed to wear a Believer or we're Christian. It doesn't matter what the world throws out as we ought to stand for God. And we ought to stand for the truth of the gospel. And we are to demonstrate and haven't revealed in our lives that we accepted the moment of truth that were slaves to the righteousness of God. Secondly, obedient reveals God's love for others around us. You see when we are obedient in our love for Christ. It can't help but pour out the love and compassion of Christ on others have love and compassion is reveal and it challenges the perspective of the world and how they view got conversely. If we claim to be Believers and we don't have love and we don't have compassion for others, then that'll translate into a perspective of the world that God doesn't love And that God doesn't care. And that God doesn't forget, and that God doesn't have compassion. Church, we need to demonstrate the love and compassion of what God did for us at the cross account. People need to know, they're not alone. People need to be able to grab onto something worth holding onto. They need the whole pack of everlasting life. We need to hold that. He is our Rock, and that he is our shield and he is our Fortress ending. The hope that God has the answers. They have all that we need a grace is sufficient for all things that I might go through. In this life. Matthew 22:36. Is this teacher, which is the great commandment in the law, and he said unto me and you shall love the Lord, your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, ladies and gentlemen, that's the First Act of obedience. When we decide in Our Moment of Truth, what are we going to do with the truth of the Gospel? Are we going to do with all of our heart? We going to love me with all of our mine. Are we going to love him with all of our soul? Love me with all of our strength? This is the greatest commandment, but then he says this the second is like it. You shall love your neighbor as yourself, when we accept that moment of truth and that call to be obedient that, we're going to be a slave to righteousness. It's going to show in the way that we love other people. John 13:34 says this, I'm giving you a new commandment that you love one. Another as I have loved you. How did he love us? He gave himself for the sacrificial love. It was a gracious, love. It was a good love. It was a comforting lie. It was a savior. We are to love people with the grace of God. We got to love people with the love of God. We are to love people with the compassion of God. We got to love people. The way that God has poured out his love. Upon us. He says, in verse 35, by this, all people will know that you are my disciples. If you have loved one for another, there's the call. There's the moment of truth. You see, we don't we're not going to obey something. We don't trust and we're not going to love people with love and compassion and Grace is that love doesn't live inside of us. You see our obedience reveals that we truly are the Disciples of Jesus Christ, and he really does love all Sinners and is willing to reach down and rescue them for an eternity. And there's the Hope. Listen there is the hope that this world needs.

This world is a wreck. It is in total chaos, but understand this. We have a god, that is on his throne and he is a calm. God. He is a righteous God. He is a patient. God, he is a judging God. And God is going to have enough one day and he's going to bring peace to this earth.

We have a moment of truth. That we have to resolve. We going to be a slave to this world. Are we going to be asleep by? Are we going to accept the love of God through Jesus Christ. Are we going to continue down this path? And this journey that we've gone for so many years thinking that we can make it on her own.

There will be a day. And I don't say this in a grudging way because I, I fear. For those in this day when God will look at them and have to say depart from me for, I never knew you. It breaks my heart today. If Jesus were to come back today, there's people in our community that's going to hear that. There may be somebody in this church this morning that's going to cure. Those were You worker of iniquity? I never.

What a sad sad heart-wrenching day that's going to be. But listen, if you're here this morning, this is your moment of truth. You don't have to hear those were why? Because he's a patient guy. He's a gracious. God. He's giving you a chance this morning in this moment to accept the moment of truth and a hat on that call of obedience to be saved by the grace of God, to no longer be enslaved to sin for the wages of those saying, we know what that means. But if you're here this morning. I want you to understand this. I really believe if you're lost. This is why you came this morning. So God could reveal his plan to eat, so that God can show his love to you. So God can show his salvation. You don't have to fight it anymore. You can have peace and you can have hope in a relationship with God through Jesus Christ. Amen. Why can't we say that cuz we've experienced that. We didn't deserve it. We sure didn't earn it, but I can tell you this. This church is full of people that are glad we have it and I'm glad that we had the opportunity to answer the call to be obedient to God and to be a slave to his righteousness. Perhaps today is your moment. This is your Crossroads of life where everything about you, and your future is going to rest in this decision that you've raised this morning.

I had to stall this week and I wrote this down. Don't wait for the right moment. Get this moment, right? This might be your moment. This might be your Cross Road. Don't wait for the perfect moment. Don't wait for the right moment. Take advantage of the moment that God has given you now and make it right. The third thing. I want us to notice his obedience leads to God's affirmation. Our faith is rewarded with the blessings of God has promised has become real in my life. And we experienced am on a whole new way another worse. When we obey, God, what he delivers. And we receive blessings from the affirmation of God, when we are obedient to, what God is calling us to do. He rewards us when God gave Moses the invitation at the burning bush. This is Moses lead the Israelites out of captivity when he invited her to come to him, Peter walked on the water when he instruct, you know, it's a build a boat here, asked you to his family from his judgment and his destruction. And when Jesus Christ cried in the garden, not my will, but yours be done and use this sun to provide salvation for each and everyone of us today. It's the God's affirmation is poured out upon us as we obey his command. Obedience reveals God's blessings and information upon us. Galatians Chapter 2. I just want you to listen to this. I am crucified with Christ. I hope this is your prayer this morning. I hope this is what we believe in what we stand for. He said, I am crucified with Christ. Nevertheless. I live yet not, I, but Christ liveth in me and a life, which I now live in the flesh. I live by faith of the Son of God loves me and gave himself for me. When we leave here this morning demonstrating. I am crucified with Christ. Can we leave here this morning? Saying not I but it's Christ that lives in me. Can I say this morning that when I live in the flesh? I'm not leaving by the flesh. I'm letting by the things that I have in my relationship with God. A guy that love me and a guy that gave himself for me. Well. This is your moment of truth this morning.

It's sort of like this.

I got two bags down here this morning. I told you that one. Held the key to life. And one held the key to death. You don't make a choice today. You got make a choice this morning. How do you choose the term, ins your eternity? How are you? Ladies do, and all of a sudden, one by one you come down? You think that's a pretty big bag that has a lot of potential. There could be a lot of things going on in this bag. That might you might look at this and say, hey, big things come in small packages, right? Every woman that's ever opened a little box about yay. Big. Those big things come in little packages. And so your tour and you really don't know what to do.

That's a tough choice, especially when the balance of your eternity, is it state? But what if I revealed, what was in this bag and revealed, what was in this bag? Would it make your choice a little easier? You like this? Yeah, obviously it would. If you knew what was in each bag.

Need a live baby easy. So let's look this morning in this bag.

Is absolutely nothing. It's empty. It's Hollow. Play the death. You see that's what the world offers you offered you. A nice big bag with a lot of potential, but at the end of the day, you leave you empty, and it's going to leave. You Paula a choice. Number one or in this little bag here. You can always choose. Say it With Me. Jesus say it again. Jesus. Now follow us up here like this.

And I said this bag up here like this. And I said, now the choice is yours.

We play or brother Chris. That's just obvious. Of course. I'm going to pick Jesus over the empty bag.

But do we?

Dewey. We're out there. How many times do we?

Want to take a peek and this bag just to see if there's anything there. You see the choice is obvious this morning. But how many times is it that obvious? In our own life. How many times do we know? Jesus has already revealed this to us? Right? You can be a slave or you can be a slave to righteousness. I've already been on fanschoice is for you to show you what the world is going to end up. It's going to fade away. It's going to be destroyed. It's going to be cast into the lake of fire with Satan and All His angels and all those are just the way it's already say it again. Who is he? Why don't we choose him everyday then? Play the gentleman. Life is too short to be a slave to the sin that Christ rescued us from. We need to be a slave to his righteousness. Today, this is your moment of truth. Your loss. Choose Jesus. If you're safe. Choose Jesus. 30th East Saint. So simple, it is so simple. He made it. So why? Because he loves you? And he desires for you to know him and to know him on an intimate level for all of eternity. The moment of truth is right. Now. Let's Stand Together. Father. We come to you. We thank you that we don't have to be imprisoned or be a slave any longer to what you've already rescued us from

It's so obvious. What we need to do this morning.

So give us what? We give us the encouragement. The bonus. We need. In This Moment. To make the right choice.

Father, through the Lost person in this building. Before this prayers even over, I pray, that they be saved. Then answer that call and they say Lord, the games are over. I've tried it my way. I've tried it the world's way long enough today. I Choose You. Because I know it's the key to life. If there's a safe person that's here this morning and maybe they've been struggling there still slaves. So that's in that they've already been freed from. They understand that they need to be obedient to what you called. So today, God, even before this prayers over, I'll pray for a total surrender of their life over to you. Not just as their savior but also as their lord, Choice is before us this morning.

The moment of truth is here. So we ask that your spirit would move. And that we'd see people respond in Jesus name.
