The title of our message is this, The Christian Response to Evil

The first mention of evil in the word of God can be found in the very first book, the Book of Genesis. We find in Chapter 6, that the lustful corruption of man had increased to the point, that it grieved the heart of God that He had made man.
Genesis 6:5–6 (NASB95)
5 Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great on the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
6 The Lord was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart.
And God said that He would wipe out mankind, and all living creatures from the face of the earth
But Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord, for he was a righteous man who walked with God.
