Honor

Definition of Honor
Greek (timao) - properly, assign value (give honor), as it reflects the personal esteem (value, preciousness) attached to it by the beholder.
Achieved Honor - Honor received through accomplishment, performance, action, or behavior.
Ascribed Honor - Honor that one receives through no action or agency of one’s own.
Matthew 23:12 “12 “Whoever exalts himself shall be humbled; and whoever humbles himself shall be exalted.”
1 Peter 2:17 ESV

Who do we honor?

The Lord
