Entitlement

There is this stigma that comes with our generation and it comes from those who were just like us at one point but now they have finally pin-pointed what they were, this stigma is referred to as ENTITLEMENT, this refers to an individual who claims ownership or legal right to something.
And because we live in a “name it, claim it” culture and “what God has for me is for me”, and I believe God is going to bless us in a way where we will live in homes we didnt build and eat from gardens we didnt plant because when you have been faithful over the little you have now, God says I know I can trust you to be rulers over many, and because you seek ye first the kingdom of God, all the extra things you receive are added blessings. But there is nothing worse than an individual who feels they are entitled to something they have never worked for. They are entitled to a position they have never served, they are entitled to a raise and they barely show up for work, they are entitled to your body but won’t wait to give you their last name, they are entitled to the pulpit but don’t come Bible Study, and they are entitled to all of God while they only give him half of themselves, maybe I should end my sermon here and go home but tell somebody you don’t get, what you can’t serve.
