STORY of Mary

Mary came to the Bible Study. She said she came to turn away any-one interested in Christianity. Rebecca the study leader was very unsure of her. No-one else came that day. Mary asked how Rebecca, a thinking person could reject her mind and accept Christianity.

Rebecca said to her , I agree with what you say. Nobody should blindly accept Christianity. But I am mystified how any-one can blindly reject the claims of Christianity without bothering to investigate the evidence. So a two hour discussion ensued and Rebecca sent Mary home with a book to read. The next day she came and said I have prayed the prayer in the back of the book; am I now in. She had believed she was sinner and Christ had died for her sin. She committed her life to the Lord Jesus & was born again.

Rebecca, didn’t think Mary could possibly become a believer. But God loves all of us and cares for us all.

I Peter 5 7 casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.

John 10:10 I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

God’s desire for us all is a meaningful, purposeful life.

We need to be reading the Word of God and applying it’s principles to our life.

PROVERBS 3:5-10 Trust in the Lord with all your heart,

And lean not on your own understanding;

6 In all your ways acknowledge Him,

And He shall direct your paths.

7 Do not be wise in your own eyes;

Fear the Lord and depart from evil.

8 It will be health to your flesh,

And strength to your bones.
