Text:
Daniel 3:23–26 AV
And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace. Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonied, and rose up in haste, and spake, and said unto his counsellors, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king. He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God. Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace, and spake, and said, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, ye servants of the most high God, come forth, and come hither. Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, came forth of the midst of the fire.
Daniel 6:16–17 AV
Then the king commanded, and they brought Daniel, and cast him into the den of lions. Now the king spake and said unto Daniel, Thy God whom thou servest continually, he will deliver thee. And a stone was brought, and laid upon the mouth of the den; and the king sealed it with his own signet, and with the signet of his lords; that the purpose might not be changed concerning Daniel.
Daniel 6:19–23 AV
Then the king arose very early in the morning, and went in haste unto the den of lions. And when he came to the den, he cried with a lamentable voice unto Daniel: and the king spake and said to Daniel, O Daniel, servant of the living God, is thy God, whom thou servest continually, able to deliver thee from the lions? Then said Daniel unto the king, O king, live for ever. My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions’ mouths, that they have not hurt me: forasmuch as before him innocency was found in me; and also before thee, O king, have I done no hurt. Then was the king exceeding glad for him, and commanded that they should take Daniel up out of the den. So Daniel was taken up out of the den, and no manner of hurt was found upon him, because he believed in his God.
Topic: “If You Stand, God is Going To Work It Out!”
Two stories:

2. Daniel and the Lion’s Den.
The First Stand (Hananiah, Mishael, Azariah, and the Fiery Furnace).
Daniel Chapter 3
The Second Stand (Daniel and the Lion’s Den).
Daniel Chapter 6
Your Stand Can Affect Others.
Thoughts:
When you take a stand, you are going to have to face some adversity. It’s not easy when you take a stand and sometimes when you take a stand it may seem like you are in isolation, it may seem like you are the only one. You may be the only one in your family, you may be the only one on your job, you may be the only one in your school, you may be the only one of your friends, but let me assure you and encourage you to keep standing, keep standing for God, keep standing for holiness, keep standing on the Word of God, keep standing in faith, because if you stand, God is going to work it out!
(Last main point)
When you take a stand, when you make up in your mind that I’m going to live for God, when you decide that I’m not going to compromise, I’m not going to straddle the fence and live a double lifestyle, I’m not going to take down from the word. When you take a stand, whatever you may find yourself in, God will bring you out of it. And listen, when God brings you out, He doesn’t just do it because you asked Him, it is in his divine plan to use you, to use your dire circumstance to be a blessing to others. In other-words, when God brings you out.....He’s not going to just bring you out only, God is going to start pulling people out around you!!! He’s going to start pulling family members out, he’s going to start pulling friends out, He’s going to start pulling co-workers out, He’ll pull your enemies out!
God used the 3 Hebrew Boys, He delivered them from the fiery furnace and when The LORD performed this awesome miracle, word of it begin to spread around the kingdom!
“Have you heard what The LORD did for Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah?” “They took a stand against worshipping King Nebuchadnezzar’s decree to worship his golden idol and King Nebuchadnezzar became furious and threw them in the fiery furnace, but when he threw the three in, it burnt up the ones that threw them in, but they didn’t get burnt up?” “Oh yeah” they probably said.....and you know what else? The King saw an additional person in there and He said the fourth one looked like the Son of God!”
See the Hebrews had turned away from God, but there were four young men......I said there were four young men.....see serving God is not for the older generation young people. You don’t wait until you get older and then serve God, you may not have a chance to get older. These four young men stood, for God, and God used them to get the attention of those who had turned away from God and by doing so, those who had backslidden, those who didn’t know God, they realized there was something to serving The LORD, there was something to taking a stand for the LORD, and they saw on several occasions that if you live for The LORD if you take a stand that God will work it out! And after God worked it out for the three Hebrew boys, after God worked out for Daniel, not soon after, the Hebrews started returning to the LORD, the started repenting, and they started standing like Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah and when they repented, when the returned to the LORD, when they started to live for the LORD and take a stand.....God worked it out for them and God freed them from their captivity to return to the land of promise.
I just stop by to encourage you this morning saints of the Most High, to keep standing for the LORD! I just came to reinforce and to build with my co-workers in the gospel, “You Can’t Stop Now” after all God has done for you, after all that God has brought you through, you cannot stop now! Look at your neighbor and tell you’re neighbor....I can’t stop now, because He know’s my name! If he knows my name, he’s going to bring me out, if He knows my name, he’s going to work it out, if he knows my name, he’s going to strengthen me, if He knows my name He’s going to quicken me! Turn to another neighbor and tell your neighbor say “Neighbor, hey neighbor......don’t you give up, don’t you throw in the towel......it’s time to take a stand! Holla at them and shout “STAND”! After you’ve done all to stand......STAND! Because if you stand! He’s going to deliver you! If you stand, He’s going to strengthen you, if you stand, He’s going to work it out! STAND! It’s going to affect your family.....STAND! It’s going to affect your work environment! STAND! It’s going to affect your classroom! STAND!!! It’s going to affect your neighborhood! COME EVERYBODY......ENCOURAGE YOUR SELF AND SAY STAND!!! IF YOU STAND, HE’S GOING TO WORK IT OUT!!!!
